Even with the progressive rock jokes, the Waco reference, and the Shining joke? I liked it, barring some plot holes.
Interestingly enough, there's a huge billboard off 34th Street and 7th Avenue for the 4th Season of TVB. At the bottom of the sign it says "jump the shark." These first 3 episodes have been underwhelming to say the least. I'm still willing to keep watching though because I'm sure things will pick up in the coming weeks.
From the sounds of it, I apparently missed two episodes already. Only saw the latest that was on last night. Bummer.
Creepy ending but a great episode. Personally loved Hatred screaming at what Giant Boy Detective would do. The Monarch threatening the moppets was hilarious.
Loved it. Then again, I too am currently suffering a large temporary disfigurement of the facial area.
http://video.adultswim.com/the-venture-bros/return-to-malice.html You can go to their website and watch the episodes there(the link is the newest one). I should of went as one of the monarch henchmen for Halloween. I dropped the ball on that one. Good episode last night.
Thats a negitive due to the fact I dont live stateside streaming for Adult Swim is copyrighted. I found a torrent anyway, thanks.
I'm pissed. The last weeks I've recorded the VBs in HD only to have it jacked. Is any one else having this problem with Cartoon Network in HD on Dish? I'm wondering if I need to call a trouble in to their customer service.
"Why can't I hear them?" "Because you're sane." "What is this, an episode of Gilligan's Island? Everybody gets hit once, and they are instantly unconscious?" "Good one. Six bucks says he has amnesia when he wakes up." "Pay no attention to the handsome and ageless rock star hiding behind the couch!" Loved it, especially the Eno reference.
That was a great one. Kazuma pretty much covered all of the faves. I loved Hatred trying to explain to Hank his "unique" situation.
Butterglider! (Yeah, it's a new season, but I didn't find the Venture Brothers season 5 thread, and I didn't feel like creating it.)
Holy shit, that last episode was phenomenal. Arguably the best of the series so far. Love Detective Hank.
Wow, what a finale. The whole ending sequence with the music and Brock racing back was excellent. Do you think you will get all the unbleeped descriptions of "Rusty Venture" on DVD? There are some things I seriously would rather not hear.
The whole "Rusty Venture" thing was awesome. I hate myself for already erasing that episode. I want to watch it again. And I lost it when 21 got smoked in the chest by Hatred.
That whole discussion about the Rusty Venture was great. I also want to say how ********ing awesome General Treister is!
