are they opening up the pub to all season ticket holders next year? like they did at GS? or do you still have to purchase a $50 membership...
I have a kid that age and can tell you that the sight lines are good, even for kids. But if someone stands up one or two rows directly in front of your son, obviously that will block his view. You're more likely to be blocked by dopey people getting up to eat during the game.... and that gets annoying.... especially if you're used to front row seats. I'd recommend a front row corner flag seat in the 200s if you're trying to save some money. Or switch to a cheaper cell phone plan and use that money to renew your current seats!
I renewed my tickets at 10:01am on the first day that you could do that so I would be at the top of the list for upgrades. I was expecting to be getting a call at 10:05 am on Monday, but my rep today said that they would be calling me and that I should not expect it until Thursday. Very strange. She also mentioned that renewal rate was 60% so far and 500 new deposits. Doesn't sounds so hot, does it? As of now, there are some blocks of seats in 126 which is where I want to be but who knows what they will be doing between Monday and Thursday. If someone is hoping for an upgrade and gets a call, can you please post here immediately? Thanks
And I sit right next to you, LOL. How are you bro! Bitter end to the season. Glad you reuped in the same seats. See you next year, be well! You too ag! PS - Don't know much about this matter but 60% season ticket renewal just days after seasons' end sounds pretty impressive to me.
let's not forget that it's only due to one sucky home performance that they're not still playing. iow, this first 'deadline' toward 2011 is ridiculously early. and i wonder whether if you miss it, you're really gonna have to pay any kind of price in terms of later selections. i renewed already, but it did seem a bit super-early to me.
Regarding the renewal rate of 60% which I also heard and to me also didn't sound that great, but I was told that that rate was the highest ever and higher than last year if you believe it although then the 60% renewal rate would also not be true.
ha, you think we would have talked about our screen names during the season. I reuped but we will see if I can make any moves. Not sure if I am moving yet, I want to see what is available, hopefully I get a quick call. I want one more seat and I don't know if the family to the left of me is getting all 8 of those seats again, I probably should have asked them. I want one for my daughter(shes a baby now but I want it for the future).
In those end line seats, would you go high towards the back rows or more towards the front and would you recommend right behind the goal or one of the sections right to the side?
Did I say that it sounded bad? I don't have enough insight into this to know either way, but I suggested that on the face of it, I expected higher. This was not the first week, but several weeks. Also, if there was no deadline, I would have thought that this was absolutely great. However, there was a clear deadline after which you lost your seats and also at some point (don't recall when and whether we passed that date yet) you lose some benefits. So, I was thinking that if you were a ST holder in 2010 and wanted to be a ST holder in 2011, you would have renewed by the deadline. Maybe not all, but most. Some people just procrastinate and some may not be too happy with their seats, some of the remaining 40% will re-appear, but probably far from all. To be frank, I would rather have fewer season ticketholders next year, but much higher percentage of games that they actually attend. And of course, I do expect that we will get quite a few new ST holders next year.
I cannot vouch for reliability of the 60% figure. It came from my rep. However, according to her, it does include everyone who renewed. That includes me who renewed, but asked for an upgrade and said that I would go for more seats if such upgrade is granted.
I called today and aparently they've had more move requests than expected and don't expect to be organized and calling people for moves before Wed. I didn't ask about a renewal percentage, but if it's 60% then that will bode well for my moving to where I want to!
Got a call this afternoon and my colleague and I upgraded from 4 tix in 226 to 6 tixx in 126. I can guarantee some marginal improvement in covering the logo in 126 as we did not have a single empty seat between us in 2010.
Awesome, did they happen to say how many are available in that section? Just trying to figure out what my chances are in snagging 2
I was perhaps the first person that they called. At that point, there were at least several pairs left (including 2 pairs next to our seats). However, I expect them to be gone shortly, so if you were not a ST-holder in 2010, I would say that it's unlikely. However, if you are and you renewed relatively early, you do have a chance. Let me know how it goes. I would suggest that you don't hesitate to call them at 9am tomorrow to see where things are. They may not like the bugging, but it will improve your chances.
I got a call today at about 5pm. I was able to move to an aisle seat of 125 (my current section) bordering 126 which is also two rows closer than my current seats. Pretty much exactly what my wife and I wanted. (I think they're red seats too, which is a bonus.)
I am a ST holder, I called the first day for renewals but later on in the day. I am hoping to get called today or tomorrow. I would love to move down from 227(even though it is a nice over all view). Haha I don't want to piss them off I can see them being like okay he is now at the bottom of the list for bothering us( I have that kinda luck). I am also looking to maybe go on the other side also, in the Premium seats, all depends on whats left in below me in Mid.
Renewed mine today moved from 107 to 132 and added one extra. I didn't ask how renewals were going, mostly because I don't really care to engage in the whole attendance debate with trolls anymore.
