you guys hearing anything about coming down this year for sure? I know you are the champions and get the invite to defend your CCC title but I havent really heard anything. and of course I would welcome the little wager that comes along with the matter of the coffee pot cup.
Based on our FO communication lately, I fully expect to learn we are going to Charleston in March from you
official announcement Chicago, DCU and TFC. great line up and should be a great time http://www.charlestonbattery.com/news.asp?y=2010&page=1&id=560 No Quarter article http://give-em-no-quarter.blogspot.com/2010/11/teams-are-set-now-book-your-vacation.html
When is the offical schedule going to come out?????? CHS-DCU has been in the last round for the last two editions, wondering whether it's going to be the same this year as well...
they said tickets will be available in Dec so I would assume the dates will be set by then. But I would assume the DC and Charleston match will be the final weekend.
Wishing I could be able to come...but it looks like it would be too long and expensive of a flight to make it
awesome to have you back! Should be a good week and make sure you plan to get there early enough for some tailgating!
in the process of booking a beach house from march 4 - march 13 right now... im looking forward to spending some time in your neck of the woods! please keep us dcu folks update with the pubcrawl ect ect.... and of course the coffee pot will be on hand
will do greek. I know most the DC crowd like Folly Beach. check out www.vrbo.com and then find the charleston area and look on there sometimes there are some good deals for rentals Pub crawl is looking like it might be on Friday night during the week but we'll be watching other matches and tailgating through out the week. I know a couple of the TFC guys are big into golf so if that is you thing, I could put you guys in touch.
that is a good price. Are you flying solo or are you going to share the place. Have you been to Charleston before? pretty cool city for its size. There is alot to do (beside the matches of course) a good place to start is the Charleston vistor center of course we can help you out as well if you have any questions.
ill be + 1, my girlfriend is actually just as excited as i am for this trip! ive never been to charleston before, but i have heard stories haha... it looks like itll be about a 30 min drive from folly beach to downtown, so i probably wont be going in every day, but i do want to spend quite a bit of time checkin out the city... ill take a look at the visitor center for sure and im sure some questions will come up, so now i know where to ask!
here is alink with some Folly Beach info, Folly Beach summary of resturants, things to do, etc. might have some ideas. mikey
Well, looks like I am out for the first weekend (March 5-6) thanks to driving to Albany, GA for a marathon. But I may be down for a little action the following weekend. Mikey... I am getting sick and tired of not meeting you and the gang officially. LOL
We'll be here all season! Historically the last weekend (march 12 if it stays with tradition) is the DC/Charleston match and the Coffee Pot Cup. If you can only make one, that would be the one I would recommend.
