    All hail the Magnificent Mollusk!

    Cthulhu fhtagn!

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/11/paul-the-octopus-makes-tw_n_640575.html

"The generous genius predicted that Germany will conquer Uruguay in the tournament's third-place game on Saturday, and he picked Spain over the Netherlands in the final on Sunday -- the first non-German game the majestic mollusk has ever predicted.

"Paul's prophetic picks have been unassailable during the World Cup. By choosing between two mouthwatering mussels, Paul indicates which team he knows will win. The soccer sage successfully forecasted all four of Germany's victories and both of the country's losses."

Could Paul the octopus be a time traveling space alien in disguise? Either way, I'd like to bring the stocks page over to his tank.

Next time, is anyone going to bet against the Octopus?

I believe the life span of our overlord is only 1-2 years. But since its our overlord, it may be live longer.

    - Mother: Let's go Paul!
    - Paul: Mom, wait!
    - Mother: I told you not to play with those stupid earth creatures
    - Paul: Mom, I'm the most famous person in the World Cup
    - Mother: You? the most famous one of the World Cup? It's gotta be pretty pathetic World Cup then.
