Nagai was also the one who scored in the "3rd half" against Cote d'Ivoire, wasn't he?

That sounds already better than last week. And he got 30 minutes of playing time in yesterday's win vs Leeds, which is the max he got since joining. So let's see.

Decent. Good when he's attacking, out of the place when he's defending.

He started a cup game against Portsmouth. Then also started again against Portsmouth but was subbed when they went down to 10 men.

I like Nagai turning down Vfl Wolfsburg. The youngsters seem a little smarter nowadays.

    Good to hear about Uchida.

i watched ... Honda was doing good i thought, now i understand why he complained about his role a bit before, its really more defensive/central minded, you rarely see him going forward/into penalty box, no shots from outside, so i doubt we will see him score often in future if they play always like today ... however, he gave great pass/assist to Doumbia's 2nd goal :)

Thanks. I watched Kagawa against Paris, good match as usual, involved in all the good offensive movements.

    Honda's assists :

Fantastic touch for Honda on that goal, but overall his performance was well below the expectations.

Yeah, good performance despite not receiving too many balls, could have added an assist to his tally if the attempt on goal of Barrios hadn't hit the post. His team wasn't as dangerous and as threatening in attack following his substitution. Paris was back in the game, a victory was clearly within reach if their players were slightly more inspired.

Looks like all of the 3 J-players in the Bundesliga today are starting: Hasebe, Uchida and Yano

Watched only the first half when the commentator said he touched the ball 9 times. He seems not really part of the team yet. It's strange considering he is better when he is subbed in.

I'm not the kind of person that reads player's blogs, but I was wondering what happened to Maya Yoshida so I went to his. He visited Uchida and went to see the Champions League match against Hapoel.
