This is not reliable info, in fact you should consider it nothing more than a rumor, but from what I was able to gather from googling Lesnar is that the has some sort of problems with his intestines that require a "major surgery", and on top of that he has mononucleosis. http://www.thestar.com/sports/article/726440--lesnar-needs-surgery-ufc-boss-says
Looks like Barnett and Fedor might get it on in DREAM. Which would suck considering the time difference.
Martinez pieced up Pavlik quite nicely tonight, in the later rounds the slo-mo replay in between rounds looks sooooo tight in HD, blood just spewing everywhere like the video game haha
Anyone watching the fight tonight ? We're going to head down to the theatre and watch it, hopefully it'll be somewhat entertaining unlike most of Floyd's other fights.
Well, he tried, but he's not in Mayweather's class. Oh well. I stopped watching after round 5. Predictable and boring. Mosley did get him pretty good in round 2 though.
I liked the fight with the red headed Mexican a lot more. The kid is gonna be an awesome fighter if he keeps improving.
Put a gun to my head and I'm picking Floyd over Pac. Hell screw the gun, I'm picking Floyd in that one. Bad time for me to lose HBO. Lots of good fights coming up like Foreman-Cotto. I think Foreman's the better pure boxer but he has no power which = Cotto win imo.
Clinical beat down, unreal how Briggs didn't get KO'd. He took a stupid amount of power punches in each round, he deserves some credit for that even though he got owned by Dr. Iron Fist Vitali is 39 now, and 12 rds looked like a breeze to him, coasted through the first 5 and just went all out on the poor guy the rest of the way (rested in 11th). After the fight Briggs said he fought Foreman and Lennox, and that Vitali was the best. Hand speed, strength and mobility was best he's ever seen (dude actually was very articulate after such a beat down I was surprised ). Klitschko is a legend, highest KO rate of any boxer in history. Dr. Eissenfaust, Zien, Zien!!!
Wlad is fighting some green Brit (Derek Chisora) in December. Chisora is 14-0 and he is the British champ (or Commonwealth champ?)
Whole boxing world can't wait for that one. Anyway, Vitaly won in an easy fight and Pvetkin won by KO the other day.
http://valetudo.ru/mma/40-video/2742--ufc-121-qlesnar-vs-velasquezq-rezultaty- I'm a big fan of Lesnar, but he sure didn't look very good last night. Gotta wonder who is pushing this "let the opponent punch himself out in the first round" strategy with him. He was d@mned lucky the Corwin fight wasn't stopped in the first round, and Velasquez wasn't going to gas himself like Corwin.
Fedor got handled bad wow that sucks wtf. Even his fight with that Belarussian kid who he knocked out cold he was getting worked before the knockout. Hasn't looked impressive for a few years
Yea his eye was busted up, too big of a weight and height difference. At least Kharitonov won, that's what Arlovski gets for saying ******** Russia at the press conference. btw, according to Silva he was 285 come fight time, so a 55 pound weight difference and an over 4 and a half inch height difference. Against a skillful fighter like Silva that's just too tall of an order, and Fedor hit him with some vicious shots that would have dropped most fighters.
Fedor is done. I just don't think he has any motivation to be a top fighter anymore, so it was sort of in the making for a while.
