I thought posting about Freddy meant never having to say you're sorry...

    Good title.

yeah, just because you CAN think of a pun doesn't mean you HAVE to use it.

The missus and I are considering going as Aunty Entity and Raggedy Man (the Road Warrior) for Halloween.

It's either that or Indiana Jones and Short Round.

you know, I like scanning over Adu threads very quickly unless I see a post that relates to soccer. When I saw this I was shocked. Soccer discussion in an Adu thread! Maybe Freddy has a chance to be a big player after all.

It's very unlikely to be a loan.

Benfica wants him gone on a winged horse.

I am reminded of the eminently forgettable character PigKller,
    [IMG]
quite ordinary other than this one eternal quote:

Pigkiller: Remember: no matter where you go, there you are.

Can we merge it with Lee Nguen and Bernardo threads? It would be such a fun thread.

Best thread title ever!!! This thread should go on for 5000 posts in honor of the title....

Or until Freddy gets a real job.

    Whichever happens first.

As much wisdom goes, it was first attributed to that earlier, set piece taker, Confucius.
I was merely, using an appropriate quote from the Thunderdome theme.:D

I just looked out my kitchen window and saw Frankie Hejduk do a stepover in a Mutiny shirt.

Confucious was a ref. He didn't take set pieces, except maybe for his pub team.

Two years that feel like six.

I don't know why Benfica don't offer to pay for 50% or more of Adu's salary for whatever team will take him on loan. At least then they are only stuck part of his useless salary then the whole thing.

They do already pay something like 70% of his salary. Doesn't get much cheaper.
