From the start I think Ecuador really misses Valencia. Although they seem to be playing good.

Yep what ever that means... I thought Guerron was suppose to be fast. Looks super slow! We need a new right (till Valencia comes back) and left wing IMO.

Thank goodness Guerron is out. He was playing terrible! I think he needs more playing time before he gets another try.

last second loss like the last game

defense is still shaky, offense is still sporadic

and guerron needs to not see the NT till he figures out that he plays soccer

That was terrible... without Valencia Ecuador sucks even more. No attacking power. We need to some offense.

IMO, if we use both Quiroz and Noboa in the center mid, we loose too much possesion because neither is a true Defensive Mid, Noboa should play with someone with the characteristics of a Castillo or Pedro Quinonez.

I have to say that Ecuador played like crap...with the exception of the last 10 minutes of the first half and the maybe like 20 minutes at best spread out in the second, we did not pose a real threat to Colombia. Guerron did not play well, Ayovi could nould not control a ball that went his way, Benitez reverted back to his frustrating self and trying to take on 3 defenders on his own. We were basically non existent on the left flank...did Arroyo play, I know he was listed in starting 11 but he was basically invisible. The two centrals were okay at best, although they did get kucky in a few occasions, however they were better than the tragedythat is of Checa and Caicedo on the NT...could a Ecuadorean defender please learn how to clear a danm ball!!!! Reasco again proved that opposing attackers can run rings on him at free will. IMO the players that played well and continue justyfying they deserve a position on the NT were Noboa, W. Ayovi, and Banguera. Quiroz was okay but he could not win anything in the midfield with the superior height of the Colombians. Liguistas better get used to the idea that Banguera is Ecuadors second choice keeper, up until now he played well on the NT and until he screws up badly hell get called up no matter Barcelonas performance. Dominguez better grow up quickly if has any shot at surpassing Banguera.

Ill be patient and take these results up to a certain point. I know building a team is a process but at some point you have to show progress on the field. If we dont start getting good results Rueda will not last past the Copa America. I called it. However if I remember correclt, I think Manolo and rgentine Futbol warned us that we were problaly better off with Vizuete on the helm instead of Rueda.

first things first, that friendly needs to be played in a bigger stadium.. more than half the people couldnt get in. second of all, isnt this like ruedas 2nd or 3rd friendly? we gotta chill, im not a rueda fanatic but he does usually have sone sense. and lastly, a guerron como que le pese demasiado la amarilla azul y rojo. he needs to be used as a supersub not a starter
