What is sucks is that you have to be in PR and have directv to see the games. You can't even watch it online cause it's not being stream. It's all bull. The marketing plan of the teams and the PRSL sucks and you can't even support your team cause you can't even see the darn games. it sucks
I'm sorry I could not stream the games ... but DIRECTV has FULL BROADCASTING RIGHTS which includes the internet. They are not at all interested in streaming in the net. For February though, DIRECTV does not have full rights, and therefore FBNET will be working to acquire the contracts with several teams. We're also working to at least broadcast via INTERNET RADIO the final of the SUPER COPA.
This entire tournament is just a excuse to make the Islanders play River in a meaningful competition.
A lot of stuff happened that made Bayamon FC not participate. Many said that the PRSL and Serralta did something wrong. Don't know if it's true but since they are not affiliated to any league they couldn't play. In reality IDK.
River Plate PR advances to the final after eliminating Sevilla FC 2-1 global. Tomorrow we will see Islanders vs. Mayaguez. Islanders lead 2-1 after game 1.
Does anybody know about attendance? I've heard some figures around 100, 200. Were that numbers the expected? Higher, lower...?
I think the numbers are just right considering the little promotion that the tournament has been getting so far. However, I think the final could reach the 1000 mark.
Sevilla beat Mayaguez 4-1 and earn final PR spot in the CFU Club Championship next season. PR Teams in CFU 2011: - PR Islanders FC - River Plate Puerto Rico - Sevilla FC Puerto Rico
Congratulations! And now thinking in the next season, will Bayamón play or the differences with PRSL are still unavoidable?
