    Oooh quoting Snatch. How fun.

All I saw was people standing up watching the game and refusing to be moved by people turning up late. No biggie, tis first come first served after all.

The Cauldron is GA, you want a specific spot, get in early enough to get it. If not, find another spot, don't push people out of the way when you're spot is not there when you get in.

I don't know what happened tonight, but I know I've gone down to fill some empty space in the first couple of rows before and the people sitting on the end tried to keep us from getting through. If people think they can hold space for their friends, they are sadly mistaken.

Well you can if you want too , but shit happens when you think you deserve your seat. Last time I checked no one has a seat with there name on it. Get over it, grow up and show up before kickoff.

It has nothing to do with holding spaces . It's called the row was full and no one else could fit in that row.

You are a bad-boy yardie, and bad-boy yardies are supposed to know how to get rid of bodies. :)

I have nothing to do with any of this, or really care, but did you honestly not expect something to happen with the seemingly endless problem every week in this regard?

yep, all that pushing you guys keep talking about. everyone just being physically shoved about. personally, i didn't push anyone, but i was choking out women and children, tying them in knots, and drop kicking them like goliath. i don't know how you stood for all that bully violence for so long. i think everyone should stand 2 feet apart from each other and stay put like the blob from the brotherhood.

    El-P is awesome

I was just saying that I am not suprised something happened given the back and forth that goes on on here and apparently down there. Didnt envolve me, only one of you I know is Evan. I am just honestly asking you if you are surprised, how exactly did you think everything would play out with the continued "problems"?

i'm not surprised in the least, and that's the comedy of it. none of us really come to bigsoccer. i probably do the most, and i'm not exactly topping the post count charts, i'm only here when i run out of stuff to read on 12ozprophet on my phone at work. but every now and then it's pissy time on here, and i happened to catch it last week, and told the crew after that match "you know, this is all because of the internet"... in fact, everybody i know doesn't come here because it's always some weak, irrelevant drama.

what makes me keekle is that i don't recall having a single conversation in the stands about this supposed long-standing injustice, but it brews in an online bitch bout over the course of a week or two and suddenly there's swarms of security and cops invading our assholes. and oh, when they show up, now everyone pipes up. it would have taken all of 5 minutes to grow a pair and have that conversation in person on the spot at any match, but i swear to earth nobody once vocalized anything prior to that. yall act like because we don't wanna be in your fraternity, or because we have more mud people, we're some kind of uncivilized heathens and can't be spoken to like adults. by the way, i'd also like to note that there was not yardbird one harassing the cops that showed up, all of that was coming from the HS area.

i don't intend to call security next time we score a goal and everybody pushes to the front; nor when somebody runs into me when they're getting their we love ya pogo on; nor when somebody decides to stand next to me or behind me in the empty space on the concrete that is doubled or tripled simply because i'm not seated and don't plan to be; nor when somebody spills beer on me; nor when i hear abusive and vulgar language; nor any time ever. i can't think of a single problem in the cauldron that requires any security whatsoever. cops, maybe. but only if there's like... weapons or sexual assault. pretty sure anything else is not that complicated.

    but most importantly:

    you have a point

I am just saying you could see what happened coming a mile away (or 10 or so rows in my case), as you stated.

drop the "you" crap, dont paint with that board of brush, its not you vs everyone who posts on bigsoccer

done now, ill just drop and ignore it

I have had the conversation with your group. I believe others have had the conversation with your group. YOU personally no...except when you pushed your way to the front after coming late again last game.

We will have a conversation again, and if this time you want the conversation to be with you, ok!

And as far as you creating bodies and not erasing them...that's crap. I know of 4 people who have now refused to come back to the Cauldron because of your group and I have 3 people that won't come back to a KC game because of your group.

You want to talk, lets talk.

Sorry about the "message board" gotcha thing but you teed it up for me I had to swing.

Here is the thing you, and hopefully not everyone else in the YB's don't get. Coming down into a section that people have already been sitting in and making them make room for you and 15 of your other friends in a row(s) is BS, who do you think you are. People are already there. They now have to move cuz of that group. It is a GA section. I know you like to sit in the same spot, but you have no ownership of it. Did you not notice the people around you every time you come in there. They weren't happy about having to double up in a row, or having to stand sideways to stand in the spot they were sitting in before the game started. It happens with La Barra everytime they enter late, and everybody gets pissed when they try to crowd in. If there is no room they still find a spot up top and set up camp till they can move down at half time, it still sucks to be kicked out of you seat though. It has happend to me, but I have been doing this for 10 years and I know what to expect, and what is unacceptable. You don't have to physically push someone to crowd them out of their spot.

I am far from a conservative point of view and I say be as loud and verbally abusive towards players and refs as you want. Organized chants should go a 70% for the wizards and 25% towards refs and the opposing team, 5% towards away supporters groups (never individuals), pregame and in game only, after the whistle blows we should care less about anyone except the Wizards.

Then there is the front right and middle. most of the time they looked like someone dropped a big steaming plate of shit underneath their nose. Part of it is that they don't like/have a clue whats going on in the cauldron and the other part is that the team drops a big steaming plate of shit on the field.

and to close with another whole message board tactic, "please correct me if I am wrong"

i'd suggest we move to that right side but i have a feeling the sitters would have a problem with that.

a friend told me she went to the t-bones game and there was a leinenkugel's stand or something selling $4.. confirm/deny? i'd probably be in sooner if i didn't have a lot of "okay i think i can get one more in" since i'm trying not to spend inside.

I think that you are perfectly entitled to move to the right side. Just get there before anyone else.

So, if I'm understanding this spat, and based on what I'm hearing it does match up with some things I've observed for a while now, then really everyone involved kind of needs to look in the mirror for the one to blame here.

Small Group A (from what I've seen this is a couple who attend frequently but not every game) like to arrive early and stake out the end of Row 1. Bigger Group B (10ish people) tailgate until the last minute and figure everyone knows they stand up front so no one will be there. They encounter Group A, and despite the fact that there is probably only room left for 7 or 8 of them, it is out of the question that they would split up, so they barge through and crowd out Group A, who was, again, there for at least 20 minutes before Group B came in.

Group B: (Yardies): We like your energy, but the sh-t ain't cool. Split up if there are too many to fit, or come in early enough to make sure you have all the space you need.

Group A: If it were me, I would have decided to stake out another spot a LONG time ago. Maybe consider it?

It seems to me if both parties would simply accept that things sometimes do not work out exactly the way we would draw them up, and make an adjustment, there would be no conflict over something as trivial as seating arrangements.
