Prediction: Auvrey will converse with Beckerman about what a proper Dread arrangement should look like. If you're going Rasta, don't be a dirty hippie Rasta Kyle! That's shit he's got is just nasty, I bet it smells like a dead rat or something. Auvrey's prolly smells like berries and kittens.:)

I use to hate Beckerman because my wife thought he was hot. But then I realized she also thought Donovon was hot. Considering how different those 2 were, I figured she likes anyone that doesn't look like me instead.

Now I respect is footballing skills. :D

I made the mistake of perusing the RSL pre-match thread. Quite a bit of arrogance over there. I hope the boys pull this one out and send RSL home with a big, fat "W".

    C'mon you Wiz!

when i looked at it earlier i really enjoyed that we had more post in our pregame because we had nothing better to look forward to than the Champions coming to town.

That draw felt like a loss! Nice game by Smith.

I wish he could handle the rigors of playing more centrally.

I feel so.....dissatisfied. We outplayed them. Morales was a non-factor. Their offense had very little flow. Again our finishing (or lack thereof) is killing us. If you had asked me earlier today if a tie would have been acceptable I would have said yes, but we were the better team tonight.

The offense did what they had to do, get rsl to chase the game. The soft goal was a killer. Harrington was in a very bad defensive position when Findley headed the ball in.

Was Bunbury offside on that play? I thought the ball came off the defender.

Watching the highlights online he looks to be even with the last defender when the ball was played.

He is definitely a winger. He couldn't handle the the circle.

Can't blame the ref though, I watched the replay 3-4 times and I couldn't tell at all. It was very very close. In fact I'm pretty sure Findley and Nielsen were the only ones who could have seen it.

Even though Bunbury had a clinical finish, he must be aware of his positioning as a striker. That's a lack of concentration on his part. Hopefully, he learns from his mistakes.

Exactly, the defender has to play the ball, the ball can't be played off him and that count.

That was my thought as well.

And I'll second that Smith had a fantastic game.

For the most part, he did, but he was playing overconfident as well. On one of his runs, he had options left and right and didn't even look up because he was infatuated with his own dribbling skill.

EDIT: I hereby dub this "pulling a Marinelli".

I think much of that was because it had been working for him most of the night, he probably did get overconfident a time or two.

Yea - I mean, there are many players on our team who tend to dribble into trouble and then lose it... Davy and Bunbury come to mind, and moreso Davy... considering a few of Smith's runs in the first half where he almost looked to be toying with them, I don't mind if that happens a time or two.

I thought that we were going to run away with it... I mean, our goal... we made it look easy. Superb finish by Kei after an equally superb ball by Smith. As much as I love Smith's dribbling abilities, his service is all we really need.

Sucks that we gave up such a soft goal, but Nielsen got himself on the SOTW roll one more time with that save early 2nd half (simply amazing reactions by the man... I think he sees the future... Dune style or something). Sucks that Teal was offside (not by much, but offside definitely...). Sucks that we couldn't get our early pressure into 3 goals instead of just 1...

Sure, we need wins, no doubt... but I'll take a point against a very talented RSL.
