  1. I want you to think about this really hard now and consider that not everyone's immigration situation is identical to everyone else.

This is correct. Just like how not everyone's fitness level is identical to everyone else. :D

We sign Castillo and two weeks later NO paper work.

Seattle signs Fernandez and two days later they have his paper work and he's playing in his first MLS game.

How hard can it be, sign some papers and send it to immigration office. I guess Seattle's FO is alittle better at it than FIRE's FO.

Maybe they said his paper work wasn't in because he's wasn't fit to play today.

  5. Or maybe Nery has a family to consider and deal with, too? Or maybe you'll just grasp for any little string to piss and moan about like every other loudmouth blowhard on this board?

How hard can it be? Have you ever done it? Have you ever traveled internationally, let alone moved halfway across the world for a job that requires special visas? Don't you think the Fire want him on the field ASAP? It's not like they botched this on purpose.

I don't know why you're not working for the Fire, obviously you've got it all figured out.

You've dealt with the immigration folks? "signing some papers and sending it in" wow. The complexity and morass of different regs for different folks is unfathomable. Just because they're both soccer players hired by their respective clubs does NOT mean that their immigration status are similar.

Didn't he train with the Fire on Thursday and Friday? If yes, then I think he is all squared away on immigration. To the feds, "working" as a soccer player includes training and games as basically the same thing. I think that is why you see players sign and then leave the country before returning.

My guess is that Nery is fine and its just a question of getting him some more conditioning before he is ready to go. Everyone should have some patience. We need him in September and October. Let's not rush him onto the field on August 1.

Even if there is some paperwork that needs to be completed, I think that would take a back seat to conditioning right now.

Playing a 4-4-2 with this lineup would make us unstoppable from here on out home or away...

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick, Rubber Dick[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

    Though I believe it would also work playing a 4-3-3, a 4-5-1 or a 3-5-2. :D

Anybody know if this game is going to be on My50 or any other basic cable channel? I'm housesitting and don't have my FSC. A stream would be great also.
