Kuran-yay or Kuran-nay?

  1. Bring him back - Löw needs to put his ego aside.

    that was an example... :)

other examples would be to hit your manager coz he disagree with you, or just leave work coz you feel like it ...

Wow, that's brutal. Did they say what he was using and what the distance was?

all the other pics he's got a pistol, so inaccuracy is expected, but come on, thats prett horrid. he probably missed the target with most his shots judging by those low ones in the bottom right

Nonsense... what was he using? A sniper rifle? Because a pistol nor an assault rifle's effective distance is that far.

It was most probably the first time he ever used a fire arm.

The first time I shot a fire arm was when I got drafted to the Bundeswehr (well, it was the first time I and most other conscripts saw a real gun). Can't say my shooting abilities are any better than Kuranyi's.

Yeah I was in the Army too so a casual shooter aiming for a target 800 meters away is a little unbelievable.

Interesting topic. :) That is not horrible shooting at all for an amateur. If the distance is 800m, then the shooting is marvelous. Its better than his 'shooting' on the football field. :p

I'll share an experience with you guys. I went to Kashmir last month, and one of my friends has an uncle in the army upper brass, so we could visit the army club with him. There was an indoor shooting range, in which you use a pistol and have to shoot at the (4-5 concentric circles) target from a distance of ~ 40 yards ( my guess). They provide a head set to block the sound. The person who was overseeing our shooting 'efforts' said that amateurs almost always under shoot (shoot below the concentric circles) because they fail to take into account the slight bend in the trajectory of the bullet or something. Out of the 6 of us, only 2 guys hit the 8- 10 band and that was because they had prior experience.

Taking that into account, Kuranyi isn't that bad.

Another thing I learnt is that what they show in movies, especially with people firing bullet after bullet from their pistols must be difficult or near impossible. I found the recoil to be very strong. I don't think I can shoot two back to back shots.

Is a target 800m away visible to the naked eye?

he's from Brazil, he's well versed in the use of a firearm, especially a pistol where he grew up :p

pistols are not accurate at more than ~25m away. The military uses it for personal defence, hence why drivers are issued one, because it is easier to pull out of a hatch and if the driver has to start firing the enemy is way too close for comfort. Anyone trying to accurately hit something farther down range is an idiot.

if he was shooting at 800m distance than he wouldnt have been using any of the weapons seen in all the pictures on that website. gonna have to call BS on that

Kevin can not yet play on Rules RPL. The first official match, which may play Kuranyi will be 15 round Dinamo - KS Samara (July 30).
