they just announced that colombia will face Ecuador in NJ

    fecha FIFA agosto 20th

mix feelings about this.....since they just played for the real 3pts in 2008
will that help each other for the upcoming WC matches?

    Ecuador takes Bolivia at home
Colombia takes on Urus in Bgta

sounds like a money making event...................futbol anyone?

It's most definitely just a money making event, since there are so many ecuadorians and colombians in the tri state area. Can't say it's gonna be a great game though, because Ecuador never plays its friendlies with ganas or huevos. That's so frustrating every single time. I've been to so many games expecting to see a spectacular performance like what they've shown in past eliminatorias matches and the last world cup, but I always leave disappointed.

It is most definitely a money making event... Last time I was at Giant's Stadium it was a tie 1-1. I was disappointed... Castillo had made un golazo hp that day ..then came the tie... but who cares.. I got my drink on later...

i was watching Chiribolas and Vizueta getting interviewed today about the NT earlier today.

Let me just say that this idiot didn't even know the name of the country that we are going to play next month, the reporter who interviewed him had to say it for him. Chiriboga says Vizuetes last game is in August and that we should have our new coach by September. He also said we are playing all 6 fechas FIFA and that the games in october are against 2 "strong and competitve" opponents. The last game will be in november, the rival is unknown so far and they're still deciding whether to make it in ecuador or outside ecuador. There will also be 2 games in September and our opponents have already been chosen.

Vizuete said that he has the list of the new squad (it's going to be 18 players) for the game on August the 11th and that it's "un equipo completamente renovado". let's see what his definition of "renovado" is.

If we get a coach (a good one) by september, great. If we have games planned against competitive countries, even better. It's the least the damn FEF can do after making us wait so long.

veremos muchos equipos incompletos y tecnicos Interinos all over the footy map.
