No idea. The rules here obtuse to me.

    It was definitely news.

It wasn't, not really. It was a guy talking about a blog post he wrote. I'm guessing that's why it was deleted.

Regardless, it was an interesting thread. Even without a blog of suspect validity as the starting point, a thread discussing how the nats would evolve under Bielsa is worth having. It is a shame it was deleted.

I see a thread titled "The Merits of Dunga." Why not a similar thread on Bielsa.

In that spirit I offer a link to Zonal Markings analysis of the Bielsa way:

ESPN has reported it as well. His blog was citing an Argentine source.

I dont see any reason why it should have been deleted.

It was deleted because it was spam. That is directly against the bigsoccer Terms of Service.

It's also not news when you post something on your own blog, and then post it.

Which would have still given that person the webpage hits he/she desired.

I dont have a link as it was discussed on ESPN deportes (radio iirc.)

Really this is a ridiculous standard, so if Ives or Greg Setzler came on here to break news about Bob being re-upped and posted a link to their blog it would be deleted?

I guess I'll post a link to his blog then, since its not mine I'm not spamming

You know what? I don't make the effing rules. I only volunteer my time to try and enforce them and make this place an enjoyable place for everyone. That's why I volunteered for this post. If you don't like those rules, that's not my fault. Go whine to the higher ups on BS rather than trying make my life more difficult.

Maximum Optimal - I agree that it was an interesting topic, please use that thread for it. I just created it, and merged the Dunga thread, and a thread about Klinsmann there.

I'll repeat this here as well, but for speculation and analysis of potential coaches use that thread, but when actual news comes out about a potential link, we can start a new thread.

No need to get bent out of shape about it.

The Marcelo Bielsa as the next USA manager rumor has more legs then anyone else except Bob at the moment. Seems a perfectly reasonable thing for US fans to discuss.
