Why are we dredging up all that crap from the post match festivities in 2006? Let's discuss this match and this match only not an incident from four years ago.

Not really. Then he would get away unnoticed. As you never observe any ninja. ;)

    I'm glad I'm not alone.
Can't root for Sergio Ramos, Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Villa or Torres. They are all talented (except for the first two, who are mediocre), but I just can't stand them.

Well, briefly we could compare Klose with him, but now he has more goals in World Cup competition ;)

We shouldn't be discussing Maradona the player here. That time has long since passed. This is Germany's day. The future's so bright...

It doesn't change the fact that Germany has won 3 World Cups and played in 7 finals. Neither does it change the fact that Germany still has the most number of Ballon D'Or winners.

Everything can be resumed in just one phrase:

    LA MENTIRA SE ACABO!!!!

    THE LIE IS OVER!!!!

Argentina was never the great team that the media and the hype sold. Maradona is NOT a coach. Messi is NOT the second coming of Jesus.

    That's it

That is pretty cool isn't it?? Our rivalries are all turning into
    friendships.

The English pretty much cheered for us v the Argies today as well.

It is funny how everybody thinks that the goals where scored at counter attacks but the three of them where actually scored against full defense.

They just demolished the Argentinian defense at such speed at the two of them that it looks like a counter attack.

More like fans holding grudges and going for against teams they hate. I'm not rooting for anyone. We're done and out. :)

He looks trashed....kinda like me right now:D Sadly this result won't change much of anything within the AFA. Just a bad day plain and simple. I won't come right out and say Germany are now the hands down favorites but based on how everyone else is playing they have a really nice chance.

True for England...but the Dutch is different. There actually is friendships with our neighbors.

No matter how well Germany does, it is always the poor performances of everyone else that makes Germany look so good rather than their own performance in the eyes of the rest of the fans.

Anyway, enjoy the buzz - I'm off to have a couple drinks myself. ;)

this sounds probably stupid for others but you're right, nonetheless i hope for a no-mercy and hyper epic final between germany and holland. and i also hope van gaal pays a visit, this would be a must, and the expert knows why :)

It was nice to see Germany destroy Argentina, I was rooting for Germany since Argentina knocked out Mexico out in the Round of 16. I'd like to think Germany avenged us but they would wipe us out if we were on that field today instead of Argentina.

Hopefully they beat Spain, get some revenge for the '08 Euro final. But it's funny because back then I was rooting for Spain.
