Which Korean forwards do you predict will be in the starting lineup for Germany in four years time? And who do you think should start?

I personally want a Cha/Lee DG/Seol attack with Lee CS as the supersub for whoever is off his game. I don't like Ahn's tremendous arrogance and I doubt he will make it to the team in 4 years.

you had better bet your sweet little behind that ahn will make it. And its still too early too judge.

    for reals

If you told me Hwang Sun-hong, Seol Ki-hyeon, and Park Ji-sung were starting in 2002 back in 1998 I woulda been like jigga what?

It could be someone on the U-17 team for all we know, like Lee Chun-soo was 4 years ago.

    U.S.
Keun-chul Kim/Sung-guk Choi/Joguk Chung are going to be a threat.

    I thought Kim Keun-Chul was a midfielder?

2002 WC midfielders and forwards are still young (mid 20s or younger) so they can participate in 2006.

Lee Dong-Guk, Cha Doo-Ri, Lee Chun-Soo, Seol Ki-Hyun, Park Ji-Sung, Ahn Jung-Hwan, Choi Tae-Wok+ young players like (all unproven players yet) Jo Sung-Gok, Jung Jae-guk, Lee San, Lee ho etc

    Ahn isn't starting~~~~~~~~
not because he is too arrogant, but because I can imagine a better player playing instead of Ahn. Only World Cup games I thought Ahn was good was the first game and the last game. But in other games he played like a typical forward, nothing special, trying what he has to do, etc. Yes. He did score two heders but he scored two goals in 7 games. That's nowhere near enough as a center forward.

    wahahahahahaha.

my pick. Choi Tae-Uk, Cha Duri, and Park Ji-Sung. or maybe Jong ChoGuk

Ahn's problem is that he isn't reliable enough. He does everything well UNTIL he let's go of the ball. He has damn nice ball control, probably the best on the team. I think he's also one of the more creative players that Korea has ever had. Maybe many of us are biased against him since he's not fast or strong like Cha or Song, but someone like Hwang would not miss all the shots that Ahn did.

It's nice to see that Ahn developed his air game just in time, however. I read that Ahn never scored on a header his entire career in Korea. His first head-in goal came in Perugia, and it's kinda ironic how all his goals came on headers in the World Cup.

I still believe in ahn. noone on the team can create chances like he can, and he even admits that he;s not a striker. i think if we give him some more time to grow, we'll see something better.

    ahn has great offensive instincts...

just needs to keep working hard to improve the minor flaws in his game...

Ahn IS arrogant. NOBODY likes him in Korea right now.. He sued a telephone company for using a clip of his golden goal in an ad without his permission...

I like Ahn. I still don't see how Ahn is arrogant. Sk Telecom has exclusive rights to air Ahn Jung-hwan and his games on TV whereas KTF didn;t. I would've sued them too. Speaking of arrogance and stubborness I think KTF plays the biggest part in Korea. They act as if they OWN soccer in Korea. Well I give the ************ing FINGER. Telll them to make a soccer team if they got a lot of money.

So epic there is two parts(threads) to the story.

Anyways just wanted to predict the 2014 KNT strikers. Hm Park Chu Young and Lee Seung Ryul if we do our main 4-4-2 formation. For depth, I see Suk Hyun Jun, Yoo Byung-Soo, and Kim Shin Wook. And please please please No Yeom Ki Hun.

I can't think of any1 else besides HuhJM for a Korean Coach. I think Hong can use another 4 years of coaching experience, but def one of our future coaches.
