I suggest you go to wikipedia and check the background of every player of the German NT.

Then you will not pollute the forum anymore with senseless, unfounded comments like the stuff above.

Someone just told you otherwise but you chose instead to re-assert a piece of nonsense that has nothing to back it up. Who scouted these players at 2 yrs old? 8 yrs old? And then had their parents immigrate. Immigration is not a 21st Century phenomenon.

Very disapointing for anyone hoping to see more fluid attacking moves. Ball gets to him the move is over.

I can't believe the commentators just called out Klinsmann! LOL

Two yellow cards for diving to the Germans so they said "it'll be interesting to hear what Klinsmann has to say about that"!

You are right this does not happen in soccer at all.

Poland did not have some black guy a few cups ago. Wonder if he still makes his home there.

I am just saying that countries should just stop the bullshit and be open about it.

    Re: Match 8 | Germany vs. Australia | June 13th | Match Thread [R]

I don't get your point. The parents of Podolski or Klose came to Germany when they were very young, most likely for economic reasons, but certainly not because of football or because they thought that their kids would one day play for the German NT. Heck, when you would have asked them back then, they'd probably have preferred their kids to play for the Polish NT.

In any case, they grew up in Germany and learned to play football in Germany. I don't see any problem there. It's certainly not a business decision. The DFB doesn't scout Europe for talented 2 year olds and lures their parents to Germany.
What does however happen quite frequently is for Turkish of African scouts to look at the German youth teams, look for talented immigrants and offer them a spot on their NT before they get called up for the German NT.

I'm glad the rich Asian countries haven't become poachers. Imagine if Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. showed up with a bunch of South Americans or Africans. It would look ridiculous.
