Just wanted to give a peek to our new private club for HSH members. Check this out! (taking from my camera so not the best shot but still awesome!)
For those who do plane to head over to Claddagh Saturday, some points of interest. Please do not park in the Kroger Lot. There is a pay lot behind Kroger and across Sycamore to the south of Kroger. Its like $2 all day or something like that. If you have too much to drink, we have $10 cab vouchers. Just ask for one. The Comfort Inn a block away is offering discounted rooms for soccer fans. Call them at (614) 228-6511 and say you want the Claddagh Irish Pub corporate rate. I think its 75 bucks which isn't bad if you split it. Big Kev makes a good cuddle partner. Friday we open at 9am, Saturday at 5am then 7am until the 22nd then back to 9am. Tons of beer specials every day. Hope to see you all soon!
Does Claddagh have a backup generator to power the TVs should we be hit by a storm tomorrow during the game? We just lost power down the street for about 10 minutes.
I went to Fado for the second half of RSA vs MEX on my lunch break and it was packed. Not even much room to stand and watch the game. The place went apeshit when RSA scored. Nice to see that many footy fans at a bar on Friday at 11am watching the game.
Yes, they have three. Great atmosphere down there for the opener. The mexican fans has the crewfighter suite and 'we' had the rest of the bar. The outdoor extension is coming along great too. Should be a helluva day tmw homies.
oh man I've bought tickets from that guy in the past - I'd a gone somewhere else if i knew he was a frenchie
If you REALLY wanna get geeky: Seeing as the game is on ABC, will they be pulling in the HD feed OTA, seeing as OTA is generally the *best* HD signal? (And yeah, I say it tounge-in-cheek.)
If I'd had a france jersey I'd light it on fire... my "second team": (this is from Germany '06, ran into some guys after the last US group stage match from Ireland that were pretty fun)

Had a great time at Claddagh. Glad the rain went away and there were so many people there. Hat's off to Craig and the staff.
don't forget the rest of the groomsmen and bridesmaids...I can see them trying to explain this to all the wedding guests
It was World Cup Finals, USA v England, what is there to explain? Can't let something as trivial as a wedding or marrage interfer with the real purpose of life which everone with any intelligence at all knows is football. It is to that bride and groom's credit that they recognized and acted on this. May they live happy and procreate a championship side.
What time do the doors open on Friday? I'm planning on getting there for the 7:30 game to make sure I've got a good seat for the U.S.A.
