    Would like some input.

Would you rather have a Bradley or Jozy jersey?

Wow, you are really bitching about your poor choice in time management. If you were a fan, you would have gotten a jersey by at least last month. Why I don't know. Your only excuse is money, but a jersey and shipping only cost $75, so its your fault, not Big Soccer's. I have had no problems with them so your just choosing the time when every soccer fan is trying to buy there last World Cup gear. Nice Going.

    Dude...

    - I first called to see if they had them for sure... they said yes.

    - When I placed the order it said "In Stock". (05.31)

    - Several days later when I called them because the status of my order was blank they told me that it was just waiting to ship. (06.04)

    - On Tuesday I get a little worried because my order status is still blank so I email them. Thats when I get an email saying that I would get my shirt sometime in August.

I think I have a right to be a little pissed. It's not like I demanded anything or was rude to anyone. Just a little venting on the internets. I like BigSoccer and I like supporting a local business, but if you tell me over and over you have the shirt then you should have it.

You aren't really bitching about his bitching, are you? A similar scenario happened to me(minus the e-mail... I called). If the product's website says In Stock, I call and they say it's In Stock, the order page says it is In Stock, and the confirmation pages say it is In Stock, I expect it to be in stock. I was trying to get my cousin an away shirt at the last minute and BSS was the only place I saw it was in stock. It doesn't have anything to do with how good of a fan somebody is. BS ********ed up. I'm not happy about the situation either.

athens77, I'm going to be in the Triangle tomorrow. Do you know of any places that have a medium away shirt?

Nope, sorry. I got what I think is the last medium in the area (I called everywhere within an hours drive of Durham), and it was a home. One of the Dick's in Raleigh had the red training jerseys.

i'd go with bradley. but that's me. :D

you don't know the full story so what's the point in blaming him for "poor choice of time management"?

and don't be a douche with the whole "if you were a fan, you would have gotten a jersey by at least last month."

turns out, he did order before the end of may. only you didn't know that because you're too busy being a d*ck and quick to assume and judge.

if the website says it's in stock, the consumer should expect that it's in stock. it doesn't make him any less of a fan than me or you or anyone else just because he didn't order one any sooner.

    and it's "their" not "there."

    agree.

FWIW, I was able to get a large Away jersey at the Sports Authority in downtown Chicago. They had plenty of sizes available, not sure, but they may have just gotten a new shipment. Something to look into if you are still looking...good luck.

My Feilhaber shirt should ostensibly arrive tomorrow, when I'm not home to pick it up and may be late for the kick-off because of a fundraiser.

I got my Africa Unity kit yesterday and it's fantastic! I was hoping I'd get it before yesterday's opening match, but it's still very cool and comfortable. It comes with 6 patches (one each for Ivory Coast, Algeria and Ghana, the 2 Cameroon patches, and a 2010 biodiversity patch) that you can add to the jersey if you wish. I put on the 2010 biodiversity patch and it looks wonderful. Now, if only my USA away kit would arrive from U.S. Soccer...

Sports Authority in Aurora/Naperville, IL on Route 59/75th has a bunch of away shirts but in very limited sizes. I think all the mediums, larges, and XLs sold out, as all they had there were adult smalls and children sizes. I went with an adult small--really wanted that shirt and I'm a skinny guy. Just needs to fit for the next four years, right?
