Already read the ticket resale policy from FIFA.
It says that max of 20 dollars will be deducted per resale request.
How about you attempt to put the 3 TSTs up for resale on the website and see how much FIFA is deducting ? I believe it will be $20. You can always recover them.

    @supereagles

Dude, I am no lawyer but explain this to me:

    1) FIFA ticket prices:
    http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/organisation/ticketing/pricesandmatches.html

    Team Specific Tickets Prices (TST)

The price of each TST Series is the sum of the Face Price of the tickets contained in the TST Series, plus a 10% TST Service Fee. The table below shows the price of each TST Series, in US Dollars (US $), and the number of matches in each TST Series.

    2) This is from the official FIFA Ticket Transfer Policy
    http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/organisation/ticketing/tickettransferpolicy.html

Note that the original Ticket Applicant will not receive back any of the fees that he may have paid when originally purchasing the Ticket, such as the Team Specific Ticket (“TST”) Fee, Participating Member Association administration Fee, or Advanced Ticket Request Fee, if applicable.

So what you are saying is at odds with FIFA's official policies. Since you don't see the money up to 4 weeks after the match has ended, there is no way to verify your theory.

    @supereagles

There are 2 parts to it, you are just reading one and skipping the other.

First part says 20$ max per ticket resale request. So if you have 3 TSTs or 300 you are paying only 20$ for resale. AGREED, no arguments there.

Now below that it also says you lose the TST FEE, its a SERVICE FEE and is NON REFUNDABLE and you are NOT GOING TO GET IT BACK. They had to go thru extra trouble to get you a set of tickets to follow a team. You used that service so you are not going to get that money back. Now the tickets will be resold individually.

I can't explain it in any simpler terms.

Akshay i understand where you are coming from.

The fee i think you have paid for but without knowing. for example

When i brought my TST i was paying for the games as a buddle cost etc which in my case

England tst3 = $528 dollars = $176 per ticket now a normal cat 1 ticket is $160 so i guess they will be taking this $16 out as well.

However when i went to sell my ticket they stated i would be refunded $508 which means they are only taking out the $20 admin fee

However the TST service fee - what and how much is that ? most never paid this. I think the terms are correct for people who paid say a third party to get them a TST ticket in advance and the fee they paid them they wont get that back. Either way it s not 100% clear i just hope people get most of there money back

    Sam,

If you go by the ticket refund policy then you should lose 10% TST fee in addition to the 20$. This was clearly stated from the start, nothing new here. This is not "without knowing".

I wish it were just 20$ but it doesn't seem like it. I'd be very surprised if they didn't keep the TST fee. Now the stupid site might be saying it's 508$ right now but it is going to turn to 460$. They are not going to lose money on this. and here is the most compelling reason for this theory.

Remember initially if you applied for TSTs for a team and were successful but the team didn't qualify, they kept the group TST fee part of the payment. So you lost 48$ for any TST for a successful application where the team didn't qualify. This was the same in Germany and Korea/Japan.

This is the reason why I didn't put my TSTs back in, I'd rather sell them individually than take a hit for almost 800$.

If I were you I would put them up for resale via FIFA. Take your medicine and accept that it is highly unlikely you will get all your money back by selling them by non-official means. This is South Africa, not Germany.

I think what I'd do is put them up for resale, take a screenshot of the amount the website says you'll get refunded, and be ready to kick up loudly if you don't get the money (assuming that they sell).

My guess is that they've ditched the idea of keeping the TST fee. What's it for anyway, incidentally?

    It seems clear to me!
    You are correct!

However, It may well be the case that FIFA are showing a $20 charge on the resle page and they deduct the remaining 10% when they pay the money back to your credit card company in seven weeks time!

I recovered my 4x Cat 1 TST5 MEXICO this morning, & waited 10 minutes & re-listed them for sale again on fifa's page.

I came back from work & checked & they show as SOLD now.:D

I just did the same with a 2x cat 1 for QF #58, let's see what happens!:;)

It's been quiet on this thread the past few days.
Do many people still have TST's that haven't sold?

    I'm about to put up 2 x England TST 3 Cat 1

    What are my chances?

So I just posted my 2nd set of TST-5, Cat 2, Paraguay tix. I went back immediately to make sure the status was what it should be, and immediately showed as Sold. Strange to anyone? Has anyone seen them go that quick?

Just the one reply which seemed quite positive about selling a TST5.
Can I assume everyone else has now sold theirs?

    Hi whiskerxx,

I think everyone has been very surprised at how quickly their TST's have been resold, once FIFA / Match pulled their game together.
There have been varying reports of TST'S of all shapes and sizes selling in anything between 10 mins and 24 hours of being offered back. I see no reason why you should struggle to offload your England TST3, as the games are in good demand (well, excuding Slovenia).
Keep us all posted on your progress, but fingers crossed you should have no issues.

    I am ridiculously indecisive!
No mate, no trip to south africa for me. I still have some england tickets, i need to resell, but fifa are not allowing this at the moment.
Cannot believe i just gave back two tickets for the world cup final. but i like to slum it, and that is not possible/safe in South Africa.
Instead I am off to India to coach football.
    Up the communist revolution :)

I have been trying for several weeks to access the link on the Fifa world cup page so I can resell my TST Portugal tickets. Every time I click on the resell selection button, the webpage takes me back to the homepage of Fifa.

Anyone have a way around this?

    TST7 resale

Well, strange things are still happening.
    I had 4 TST7, of which I sold 2, and I have a screenshot to prove it.
However, since I will only arrive next week, and had some tickets I didn't plan to use, I gave the credit card to a friend so he can take the tickets and use it himself.
Today, he went to the machine and got 3 sets of 2 tickets for the first round, but 4 final tickets !!!
Now, I have no idea what's going on with the R16, QF and SF tickets and what refund will I get. Did it happen to anyone ?
Also, I got shitty final tickets. Section 527, right on the goal line, way upstairs.

    Re: TST7 resale

Yep, I got 528 for the finals - had 4 TST7s. They screwed everyone who got tickets in the first phase. Damn FIFA. But I was at Soccer City yesterday for the opener. There really are no bad seats.
