That's more then we can say! But it looks like we'll see Lolo in front of the Judge on 14 July making his declarations pertaining to the fraud he and the rest of his puppets have perpetrated against the club since 93. I gotta believe he'll be looking quite dapper wearing a green and white prison uniform soon!! :D

It's really interesting how both the Sevilla clubs were in trouble at some point in the 90s, leading to what we have now. If del Nido could have taken full control of Sevilla like Lopera has with Betis, we would be in the same boat.

Six trophies starting in 2006. Not bad at all.

BTW, they should make him wear white and red in prison, just for spite. :D

Hey all, just thought I would introduce myself in this thread.

My name is Rich and I'm a diehard Liverpool fan and a big fan of Sevilla. I've followed Sevilla since around 2002 and truth be told before that I thought I was a Betis fan (less than a season I just really liked Joaquin).

Why do I follow Sevilla? Everything. The way the club is run, the city, the culture, the passion and colour and originality of the fans (they are the closer thing to Liverpool fans I've ever seen) Monchi is god, the fact that they realise the manager is only ONE part of a club and when he moves on NOTHING about the way the club is run should change.

It has been a privilege for me to associate myself in any way with Sevilla. I've sadly never been to the Sanchez Pizjuan (It's a dream and I will get there) but when I do it will be one of the greatest moments of my life.

I didn't know I could have so much passion for any team that were not Liverpool F.C. until I found Sevilla. Like Liverpool but for different reasons Sevilla are truly in my heart and soul.

    Hi Rich,

My name is also Rich. :) Nice write-up. I'm with you on the appreciation of Monchi and his genius, the fans and the technical aspects of the club.

Unlike you, I didn't have a great background in the sport when I started following Sevilla. I was working around Beticos and Sevillistas when Betis was making a run at the King's Cup on their way to participation in the Cup Winners Cup, while Sevilla was on their way to Second Division after almost going bankrupt.

I saw and enjoyed the passion between the two groups of fans, so I started following Sevilla, the "underdog". I was told by more than one Betico that I should go with Betis. Afterall, they had Lopera and Sevilla had Second Division. But I stood my ground. Now look at us: we have Monchi, under a very controlled del Nido, while Betis still has Lopera and now they have Second Division. :D

The coolest thing about sport is the change.

Don't toot your horn so loud dude. When I look at the number of posts, Betis doubles Scumbag sevilla. Also, Betis still has hope to comeback to La Liga. I know you are enjoying yourself atm, cause you don't have to play Betis, but you live in Seville & you know who really rules that town ;)

Yeah, I can't wait to come back from the dead & make fun of you bums again ;)

Nice to hear from you, Robdog. But I miss your really good emoticons.

Just a quick question: how many league points does BS posts get you?

Want back in La Primera? Come on up, we could use the 6 points. :D

Man, I miss our old trash talking days...

Olympique Marsella managers have confirmed that they are targeting Luis Fabiano. Nothing's done yet.

Has it really only been a couple of months? Life really does stop without football, even the world cup was a poor stop gap when it could and should have been so much more.

How is everyone feeling about our chances next season? Will we keeP Fabiano? I'm gutted that Adriano left he's always been one of my favourite underrated players but Barca clearly didn't under rate him!

Luis Fabiano is OK with Marseille. For the moment Sevilla demands are too high. They want 20M (however the player has only one year of contract left) and Marseille proposes 10+2M.

    I would agree.

I would have to believe that this loss and the elimination from the CL stage phase completes Sevillas amazing 4 year cycle. With the loss of at least 7.1M euros (20% of teams budget) due to not making the CL group phase (not including the 550K UEFA bonus for each stage win and 400K for a tie), and losing key players, I see Sevilla slowing sliding down the table into mediocrity and with most Andalucian clubs (Betis included) ending up in Segunda in a couple of years.

I would imagine that Alvarez will be safe for at least the first 7-8 games but if after 24 possible points he only has been able to bag 10-12 points plus lackluster results in the Europa League Group phase he'll be shown the door and Del Nido will definitely be under the gun as presi.

Since scumbag sevilla didn't qualify for the cl & L'OM have off-loaded Ben Arfa to Newcastle, wonder if that deal to send Luis Fabiano to L'OM will finally go down [IMG]

    Yep, right down the drain...
    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=819314&sec=europe&cc=5739&cc=5739

    From the article:

"It's a very happy day," he said. "This is my home, I've been here six seasons and I will try to continue scoring goals and continue making history for Sevilla. It's a very special day for me.

"My first option was to renew with Sevilla. I rejected many offers and there were many interested teams. My desire was always to be here and what's true is that we have made a great effort to renew the contract.''

"Sevilla have given me everything. When I arrived here the fans didn't think much of Luis Fabiano, because at my two previous teams in Europe (Porto and Rennes) things didn't go well.

"But here I've returned to the national team, I've won many titles...I owe a lot to Sevilla, that's the truth.''
