When INTER scored against Estudiantes eliminating them you can hear and feel the sadness in the FOX play by play guys voice....what a bunch of Losers....in 2006 Jorge Ramos didnt root for this or that team or country, Ramos had great calls in all Inter goals for example and today is a legend among Inter fans...these current dirtbags root against ANY Brazilian, no matter if its against Argentines...Uruguaians, Mexicans or whatever.

Is it a Spanish Language vs Portuguese thing? Is it an Argentine must hate Brazilian thing?

Where is the Professionalism? I remember in the SulAmericana 08 Fox didnt even call 2 goals for Inter they simply just said "Gol de Inter". Against Estudiantes it sounds like he is gonna cry.

I guess now with São Paulo vs Inter they will call the goals normally because its 2 Brazilians and not a Spanish language team to root for...

It's an Argentina vs Brazil thing. As you may know, Fox Sports en Espanol (Southern Cone feed) is based in Bs. As. When they had Luis Omar Tapia on (as erratic as he can be on his knowledge of South American footy) he had no problems calling the Flamengo goals against U de Chile and U Catolica, and he's Chilean.

It's old news dude. These commentators are all blatantly and shamelessly anti-Brazilian. Every time a Libertadores match involves one of our teams and another team, the commentators root for the other as if they were Argentine.

On a counterattack, "vamo vamo vamo!"... they might as well as end the sentence with "... Argentina, vamo vamo..."

When it looks as if the other team will score, "aqui eta, aqui eta aqui eta..." in expectation of a goal.

Look up Fluminense vs. Boca Juniores in 2008. I think it was MarianAAAAAAAAAAAAA Closs and "Don" NiembrAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. They spoke with an overwhelming bias towards Boca Juniores and kept praising them as the better team even when it was 3-1 in the final minutes and a comeback was out of the question.

I like some of the Argentine BS posters here, but things like this only fuel anti-Argentine sentiments when it comes to soccer. The clip you linked was just them being sore losers, just like Desabato, because this result eliminated Argentina from the 2010 Libertadores.

Nobody hates brazilians. Everyone that does is just a moron but i agree about the commentators. Niembro and closs can be idiotic. You have to take everything they say with a grain of salt. Brazil is the big powerhouse and everyone else is a minnow. It happens everywhere especially in Europe and myself having lived in Germany for 10 years can claim that. there is some shit said that spend 100 years in europe. But most of you will never hear about it. The problem is that we have one ********ing channel especially if you live in the states. Again, after seeing the Champions league final today. I fell asleep for 20 minutes!!! Woke up at the 89 minute.. We the Conmebol are so far behind the curve not in futbol because La U vs Flamengo was 1000X times more exciting. Everything we have, Bad marketing, Bad commentating. bad sponsors..bad prize money..Bad associations with other Confederations.. etc..etc..etc.. Its all our FAULT!!

and they always call SPFC "San Pablo" ... I think the reason is that Fox has contract to show Argentine Soccer, so they are better off by Argentinians winning.... they will never win any contracts to show Brazilian games, like goltv and pfc...

    Tsk, tsk.

Those two right there, are guility of things i've ranted about lately, like overrating Desábato, giving improper labels to teams that failed and other stuff.

Though it isn't the case with all the people, some nutcases like "Bambino" Ponz will go and say like "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL DO SÃO PAULO" trying to sound portugues, then you have Niembro & Closs that hype every brazilian club as they walk by regardless of what they really are, but with those two it's possible they're afraid of another Chile.

In the U vs Sao Paulo game, when Sao Paulo was bombarding the U area in the final minutes, the commentators even said something like "Vaaaamos, U, aguanten..."

    I lol'd.

It's definitely a Brazil vs Argentina thing but it could also be the assumption that since it's a broadcast in Spanish, the majority of the viewers will be Spanish-speakers, or not Brazilian.

Tycsport which is argentine owns 50% of foxsports. It has nothing to due about who beats who. Again. How much is Globo tv worth in Brazil? In the billions I guess. Who owns GolTv? Enzo Francescoli? If all the south American networks got together than we would not need shit from anyone especially North America. We could market our futbol globally and take it by storm. but as for now. It's all our fault and deserve what we have. Plain and simple!

This is true just like when telemundo roots for Mexico above all. Maybe the Brazilians should get their own TV station.

The question is not "Why Does Fox Espanol Hate Brazilians?". The question is "why the argentine commentator can not be impartial?".

That's why I put the TV on mute and go to Jovem Pam. It's much better hearing those guys and the music they play ("Brasileirinho" when Brazil scores, "Salve o Tricolor Paulista, amado clube brasileiro...") than the half-assed clowns from FSE.

You don't get a delay between the radio feed and the TV broadcast when you do that? I use Radio Globo instead of Jovem Pam, but it's delayed a bit.

Maybe because it's not Fox Portugese? lol, but for real, it's mostly the Argies who hate on Brazil. Don't worry, you can support either Chivas or La U de Chile who happen to be my teams. Bring on Inter de Brazil o Sao Paulo.
