    Bradley

    Holden Torres Donovan

DACK!!!! I completely forgot about Torres. He shined nicely for me.

Torres, Buddle, Holden, Gomez, Goodson i think are sure to be booked for RSA umm everyone else needs to go watch some soccer fundamental videos

My top starting 11 after watching the match tonight...

    Goal - Howard
    Right Back- cherundolo
Left Back- Spector/Edu/Alexi Lalas? (Bornstein and Pearce are very sketchy, imagine them trying to defend Walcott or Lennon....)
Center Back- Goodsen/Demerit (Gooch does not look even close to match fitness)
Center Back- Bocanegra (Will he be match fit?)
    Center Mid- Torres
    Center Mid- Bradley
Right mid- Holden (looked like he was fit to me)
    Left mid- Donovan
    Rf- Altidore
    Lf- Dempsey

I left Edu out of this line-up because i dont not think he has the vision that bradley and torres have.

Nice of you to just count minutes from this particular game.

I was at RFK in 2001 for the Honduras match...all day long the Hondurans were streaking down the right side leaving US defenders in their dust.

9 years later nothing has changed...except maybe we are slower.

oh well...i will be in Philly cheering the yanks on!

    Why? He was terrible.

Holden was one of our better players out there.

Friedel retired from the team. And it won't matter who the third keeper is.

What has Adu done to earn a roster spot?

    Agreed.

Pearce played himself off the roster tonight. He was terrible.

He was your best player in midfield tonight by quite a bit. Looks like a player who can control a midfield.

Um I am not sure what game you were watching, but Holden WAS one of the few bright spots tonight.

No and no. EJ did nothing to warrant more time. I was really disappointed by his performance. Thought his game was coming around the way he was performing with Aris, but he looked like his old self tonight.

yeah, he wouldn't want to give edgar castillo a look when bornstein is always out of position, fouls a lot, and generally is not of the international quality. the only good is if we play like this in s.a., bradley will get canned.

    So It's looking like this.

    Howard

    Dolo/Spector Goodson Gooch/Demerit Spector/Boca

I'm comfortable with this but if one of our backs goes down I don't like our options from the bench at all.

Michael Bradley looks like Karl Pilkington. Still, I can't wait to have him back in the lineup this Saturday.

Okay okay I do not think it is a good idea to judge them as a collective group, because of all the player changes etc. They were poor collectively I agree, but it's really about guys making a case.

    EJ- You did nothing, again
    Sacha- Enjoy MLS
Rogers- decent job, don't know if you make it though
    Marshall- Gone
    Findley- Gone
    Edu- okay until the blunder
Torres- did great, kept possession, widened the field
Goodson- mistake on the goal but solid besides that
Gomez- he should be going, got a goal and applied pressure
Buddle- wanted the ball, showed for it, uncertain if he makes it
    Bornstein- horrible
Pearce- I'm amazed he made it worse for himself, it's 50/50
Ching- is going, great performance tonight as well
Bedoya- I don't think he makes it, made some decent runs, opened space for Cherundolo and Holden to work

Forgot about Demerit, but it looks good to me. I really think Davies was a big key to our offense and it is going to have a big impact. We are going to need some luck to get out of our group, but I am going to be pushing for us all the way. Looking forward to seeing the game in philly.
