    Hi,

We some feedback from you guys like this:

    1. Complaints about not being able to access the following forums: Germany club forums ("can't access the specified club forums directly (ie, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, etc.)"; MLS team forums, ("I can access the main mls clubs forum... but not that subforums for the actual teams... ie. Chicago Fire. I just don't see them").

The tech team says this should now be resolved. Let me know if still have troubles.

Oddly, the only subforums I can see under MLS Clubs are MLS Supporters and NSR subforums (like Lot 8 in the DC United forum). Still can't access MLB Clubs forums themselves.

Yep, same here. I can access Manchester United: History and Manchester United: NSR but not the main forum. Try again.

Have you tried the footer? Are you talking about the app or about the mobile website?

The footer takes me to what I would call the 'old' mobile site. Maybe it IS the app that I'm referring to.... However, I've never purchased the app for my iphone. But...one day, it was there...if that's what it is. I wasn't aware that forum access was available on the app yet. If so, just say the word and I'll purchase the app.

I just don't understand how I would have had the new app on my phone having not downloaded it... Whatever the case, I toggled the 'standard format' button and now I can't get back.

OK, FF....I have a little more info now. I just downloaded the actual BS iPhone App from iTunes. THAT is what was on my phone a couple of weeks ago when I started my questions. I have NO idea how I got that as I'm 100% certain that I have not purchased that app previously. It showed up and then mysteriously went away when I toggled to the Std format....

Anyway...it's still fairly difficult to navigate to the Bayern Munich subforum. It can be accessed under Germany, but not under the German Clubs page (whichis where you'd logically expect it to be--along with the other German clubs that have their own subforums). Under the German Clubs page, it lists 'Subforums' but it is not an 'active' key that can be pressed. If it's this way in the German threads/forums, I'm sure it's this way on others, too.

Also...getting the 'Go to the first unread post' is still not resolved. The 'hotlink' is to the last unread post, which is basically worthless.

Sorry for the confusion, but I had good reason to be confused. I just assumed the app was a new mobile version as I hadn't previously purchased the app....:D

So, I'm on the app now and it looks pretty cool although it would be nice if there were a way to save certain forums so I wouldn't have to scroll for so long to get to where I'm going to. And if I missed it, apologies.

Just as an FYI or request: I let my premium membership lapse and won't be renewing until you have a mobile site or Droid app. Can't justify paying without it.

Are you trying to access a mobile site on your droid and you're finding it hard to navigate?

An Android app is a ways away, I'm afraid.

Thanks for pointing out the mobile site. I didn't know it existed. I assume you're talking about the link at the bottom of the page? It's the one that looks like a basic site map?

If so, I'm suprised that's what you guys have come up with for a mobile site. Maybe it works well on Blackberry, etc? To put it politely... it leaves a lot to be desired.

Regardless, there are other reasons why I don't feel the need to re-up my premium membership but not having a droid app is a big one.

I access the net now almost exclusively through my phone. Between Twitter, apps, mobile sites or just plain sites that are properly framed for a smart phone, I'm rarely on my home PC.

I understand android at the moment is a relatively small market compared to iPhone, but I'd encourage you to look toward the android world as well.

    Thanks again for the response.

    Hey there,

Very interesting to read your post because it shows the way that browsing is going. I think that in some countries, people are bypassing desktops completely for mobile browsing...Anyway, that's by the by.

I'm a Blackberry man so haven't tried surfing BigSoccer on an Android, but I'll test it out next time I'm near one. I totally appreciate what you're saying - we can keep that in mind. Last time I checked, iPhones were by far our biggest mobile market, but I'll keep it in mind.

Hope you're enjoying the July 4th Weekend!

Actually, this is not the case. Symbian (Nokia), RIM (Blackberry) and now the Android OS have a greater market share than Apple.

I hear you, but I was referring to the which phones people use to come to BigSoccer. Most are coming from iPhone, says our analytics. It's a bit chicken and egg because more people would come if we created a better experience, but for right now we're iPhone focused. However, I will bring it up today.

With my Droid X (4.3' screen) it's probably just as easy to use the built in browser as using an app, but if it makes my bigsoccer browsing quicker I'm all for it.
