Actually, I bought some on a whim the other day... haven't had any yet though. Exactly... I'm not sure if old wounds have healed, but I'm sure Marinos fans love being loudly reminded of Flugels while simultaneously being told to F off...
It is still controversial, but some of today's chants go with "Yokohama F Marinos" in it, thus I assume that overall it is an accepted fact...
Marcel does not have the money to buy a Honda, they have 15-20 million euros. In CSKA usually buys young players, they play of 4-5 years there and then sell in the top clubs, as was the case with Jiri Yaroshik (Chelsea), Ivica Olic (Hamburg, Bayern Munich), Jo (Manchester City), and Yuri Zhirkov (Chelsea) . Next in line Vagner Love, Milos Krasic and Igror Akinfeev, who had more than 5 years old playing in CSKA. Krasic first 2 years in CSKA went only to replace, but now he is one of the best right midfielder of the world and in this summer should go to Milan. Honda does not need to panic, let them play another 3-4 years in Russia and then buy Manchester United or Real Madrid.
Mihaljovic prolly gonna sign with Inter when Mourinho will be on his way to Madrid and he wants to bring Maxi Lopez with him. This let Morimoto some space for next year.
ye but catania really are a piece of sh!t. Not good enough and this world cup could (and should) springboard his career.
Some quality players in your list, CSKA sure knows how to judge and buy potential ones. But I don't think Honda'll play 4 - 5 years for CSKA, he may transfer for a Liga team in 2 years.
I think it makes sense to Morimoto to stay in Catania ONLY if he gets total guarantee that he will start. But overall, one gets the idea that whatever he could have learned there, he has learned already. I am disappointed that none of the big clubs in Italy consider him an option, at least at the moment. perhaps not as a starter, he could be a great addition at Juventus or at Milan, for example--even in this so-so season he was better than both Huntelaar and Amauri, and he is much younger--Not to mention all the jerseys they would sell in Japan...
So long as they have a good training setup, that deal would serve him well. Lining up against a Milan or Juve defence would be a lot better than playing alongside them each week, since it will help his development. Though obviously it can help if you're also training with these players as you'll be doing it on a regular basis, but if you can learn a defender's movement you'll find it easier to beat them, thus becoming complacent. Easier to be mixing it up each week.
Everything depends on the offer. Jarosik was sold after two years, Jo after 2,5 years - because there were great offers fro them. If La Liga team will offer about 15-20 millions for Honda, he can be sold ever this summer, I suppose. But I don't think that anybody will made such bid now, even after a possible shining performance at the World Cup. Big clubs will give him a time to prove himself in European competitions, so 2-3 years from today is the lowest time till his move, I think.
A total guarantee? How many 22-year-olds are in a position to demand a total guarantee of starting anywhere, let alone in Serie A? What has Morimoto achieved that would justify such a demand? He needs to sit tight and see where Catania goes should Mihaljovic move. Part of the deal of following one's ambition and going to Europe is the assumption that you have to earn your place in the squad week in, week out. If he really wants a "total guarantee" of starting, let him move back to Japan and be treated like a king rather than fighting for a spot in a better league and growing as a professional.
A very good CSKA-fan video maker made this about Honda, I really enjoyed it : [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbHStjHAq9Q&playnext_from=TL&videos=229BYpFu3js&feature=sub"]YouTube- ?? ?? Keisuke Honda [skills][/ame]
Where did Kimitoshi Nogawa go ? In 2005 he became the frist japanese player to play in Africa.... where are this guy now?
"e o japonês Taka, que voltou ao seu país." Taka ends his stint at Maritimo and will miss Europa league action in the 10-11 season.
Honda in top 10 transfers http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2010/06/09/1963209/top-10-transfers-of-2009-10 Seems somewhat premature in my opinion. They're basing it on 4 games he played in.
Chucked him in there so the Asian soccer fans have something to talk about. Goal.com does that quite often. They spread the praise out so it covers the different language readerships they have. Notable mention? Maybe. Top 5? Certainly not. I don't have much respect for Goal.com. I consistently identify grammatical errors on their articles.
