My fault, I should have been more clear. I was talking about the team more so than the city. Apprently on his blog(which only members can access and I'm not a member so I can't confirm), he said something along the line of "I don't want to play in a position that controls the game. I came here to play in a position where I can score every game. I don't want to play holding mid anymore. Dzagoev is a good young player but anyone who understands soccer can tell that he is not at my level yet. I will say it one more time. I don't feel like playing holding mid anymore." Not a very good thing to say but he played last night as a right winger so maybe it helped.
If Honda really is going to OM then he's gonna encounter exactly opposite way of enjoying the games by fans in Marseille contrary to Japan. If football in Europe is very important, then for OM fans it's religion. No, more than that - they are fanatics (in a bad way). Also it's the club where players are saddled with giant pressure every game. And that's crazy. If think, if there are any propositions, he should finally go to the best league in the world - the EPL. Physically and mentally he is ready for a step another level up (which is something he's been doing all the time in Europe). And yes - Moscow can be a hard place to live even for Russian people not to mention foreigners. But I hope things are gonna turn out right for Keisuke.
Majster2 is right. I was at the stadium tonight to celebrate the title, it was amazing. Here, everybody talks football 24/7 and it would be a huge test for Honda. But nsato, are you sure he really said that ... . I just cross my fingers hoping Dzagoev or a CSKA member didn't read this ...
Good stuff for Uchida and going to schalke. Cant believe i played with him a few months ago. Cool guy
He was also voted as cutest guy in J.league last year. With him gone, it is now a duel between Oguro and Sanga's Nakayama.
I want Honda to leave Russia soon because I don't like Russia itself. Also, the atmosphere of the league is so depressing. It is even worse than Serie A and reminds me that Russia was communist.
Let's be real here. Where ever Morimoto ends up next, presumably in the Serie A, if he can't gain solid results (ie. do the job as a striker and score 10+ goals in a season), he'll likely end up in a lower tier league (Greece, etc.). I see next season as being make or break in Morimoto's career progress. You can always come back up from lower level leagues, but it'll be a huge speed bump.
Well, Udinese has been famous over the last decade for developing players and selling them overpriced to big clubs, so perhaps it would be a good move. I think for him anywhere in Europe is OK, even if a second-tier league, as far as he plays regularly. As a starter, I believe he could guarantee a dozen goal in a top-league, even more elsewhere, if in a decent team. Then, he would catch the world's eyes. In any case, time to leave Sicily...

Yeah agreed. Plus, Udinese can make Morimoto become same success step as another Di Natale. To me, its good move. ofcourse if it become official.
Seems like Rafinha is sticking around with Schalke for another year, so Uchida will likely be spending a fair amount of time on the bench next season while he's groomed to take over. http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/ital...-had-contact-with-genoa-over-defender-rafinha

I have a hard time saying that "F" myself... I have a natural tendency to associate "F [noun]" with another word starting in "F". I'm sure it makes for great taunts if they're visiting though ?
