Yes and no. Pool is in a bad spot but still holds prestige, move makes sense for both teams imo.

Does Nottingham Forest have prestige? Seriously Dima, they play in a crumbling stadium, will have a new coach and have to sell off their best players this summer. They have pretty much fallen into the area of Villa, Everton, etc

Aliev with a goal in Loko's win, looks like he's an early front runner for POY.

Maaan, he's on fire. Another great FK

Chygrynsky lands himself a La Liga medal. Is he the first Rus/Ukr to win La Liga. I know Hleb got it last year but he's Belarussian, doesn't matter :p

Off the top of my head I can't remember the last time an non Barcelona-Real championship occurred.

    Edit: I looked it up.

    Valencia 03-04
    Valencia 01-02
    Deportivo 99-00
    Atletico 95-96

I don't remember any Ukrainians playing for Real or Barcelona, and I don't remember any of them playing for the above teams either.

Yea I think Valencia could have had the Double but lost to Real in UCL Final in 01-02, could be wrong, maybe a year or 2 before that

What's up with Alejandro Dominguez from Rubin? Transferred to Valencia I think but I haven't seen him in any of their highlights this season or heard of him playing at all

I think he's having issues with the team or something.

Barca has such an amazing team environment, Milan/Barca are the only clubs this cool. I thought Chygry was going to be left out of the celebrations, but after the game they showed Iniesta being first to extend him a high five and hug and they all were congratulating each other. Looked a little uncomfortable, but nowhere near the level of Zhirkov :D lol still can't believe that shit!

Would love to hear what Chygry had to say, he's supposed to be a bright guy and I know he was learning Spanish when he just moved there. I wonder how good he is now...Iniesta tried to give him a few words of encouragement and Xavi looked visibly concerned for him, hahahahaha :D still had to be better than what Hleb pulled off last year, lol such a hick he is

I talked about this before. Donovan was saying the difference between Everton and Bayern was huge.

I love hearing the different accents on the team. Xavi, Messi etc..

Yeah like a player was mocking the coach during a game (gesturing like him sarcastically) and Dominguez was caught on camera cheering him on and like laughing and clapping. Then he apologized to the fans and had other training mishaps/discipline issues. More apologies to the fans. hahahah

Roman Pavlyuchenko does well in Tottenham's first game
of the pre season and score two goals as Spurs beat
    Bournemouth 4-0.

Good news, pretty nice 2nd goal no matter the competition. He had that great 2nd half of the season so hopefully he starts where he left off. He's a beast when he's playing with confidence.
