This post is an embarrassment, even by your own low standards. If you're going to try and wind people up, please do it with a bit of style. Seriously, re-read your POSt. It's something a 13 year old would write and think himself clever. How old are you now? Early 20s? C'mon now.

I'm a rare fan of both Mexico and the US. I can't stand the fans for either team. No offense, just a lot of "spazzos" on both sides.

No, i'm annoyed that you are still functionally illiterate. It's embarrassing. How are you ever going to get anywhere in life?

What exactly keeps you so busy that you can't spell or type? I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and guess that it isn't school.

I used to buy your excuse that it's just laziness, but now i'm fairly convinced that what you show here is really the best you're capable of, and that's a little sad.

I must admit to looking forward to USA's first game more than ever (and I'm Czech, so last WC's first game was pretty highly anticipated).

I like the US's chances: if Landon is on, we have a chance. But if he's not, like last WC, then it'll be a short three games.

English hopes are sky high, and though they're playing better than 2 and 4 years ago, really, this is the same team, and it'll be awesome if we knock them off first game.

Man, am I looking forward to the game...

I studied in england for 4 months during college. I want to be able to pull for England, after the US, of course, but I frankly hate most of their starting 11 (mainly because they are all Chelski, ManUre, or Scum it seems).

Agreed. I love the country but have grown to despise most of that squad so much I could never root for their team. Other than Milner and perhaps Walcott if he makes the trip I'm pretty much rooting against England.

I really doubt we'll see Walcott get much playing time -- unless he puts in some really good performances in the pre-tournament matches.

Walcott and Lenon/Milner would tear the US defense to shreds. Our only hope is for Dempsey and Charlie Davies to get through Terry and the geriatric Ledley King more.

Why? I think that a discussion among Gooners about the World Cup is fine for our own thread. We have quite a few players featuring so why can't it be discussed here?

Walcott has been awful this season. I can't see Capello picking him for the 23 man squad.

I'd prefer the term inconsistent, but yeah he doesn't merit a call up. I'd prefer him to work on his game, novel thought I'm sure.
