Forest defeat Reading 2-1 and continue their climb in the standings with 3 more points and close the gap with Newcastle to 2 points who play WBA at home on Monday, which means Forest will either put more space between themselves and the The Baggies or close the gap against the Toon.

It was odd hearing an interview with shorey before the game. Normally players are really fired up playing against their old club, but he pretty much admitted he wasn't looking forward to it, saying he'd have to put it out of his mind and be professional. Doing a professional foul probably wasn't quite what he had in mind though.

By the sounds of things, Reading's minds were still at Anfield for the first 45 minutes, but a lot of praise for Forest from those that ventured up there.

......and a 5-0 battering of QPR tonight. Crowd roaring the team on to get a 6th!

Dexter Blackstock puts in a superb shift, Morgan is rested late on in the game with a view to saturday. Terrific football, but QPR were very ordinary and hardly put up a fight. We need sterner tests!

Victor Moses could be on his way to the CG from Palace, who have serious financial problems.

Quality young player, we need a left winger/left-sided attacker with real quality in order to improve the side. I can't help but feel the likes of Tyson and Anderson might struggle to make any impact in the prem. Let's hope he signs!

1-0 win today at home, while second place WBA tied and the 3 other teams chasing Forest (Cardiff, Swansea and Leicester) all tied. Forest are only two points behind WBA and Newcastle although they have one and two games on hand respecitively.

Next up Boro at home and Leicester on the road these next two Saturdays.

Forest got back to their winning ways snatching all the points today with a last ditch effort goal by Luke Chambers in the 90th minute to defeat Swansea City 1-0. The good news for the day was that WBA lost 3-1 on the road to QPR. Forest now are in second place with 64 points one more then WBA who still have a game at hand. Forest are on the road for their next two games against, Preston and Barnsley.

Its really frustrating..........We need to secure the automatic promotion. Being in that knock out mini-tournament is great but its such a crap-shoot that anyone could win.

Sadly I fear if we do go up it will be exactly like the last time we went up to the Premier League. We fielded a worse team in the Premiership than we did in the Championship as Pineapple Head was off sulking.

Some pundit will also dredge up the "doing a Forest" to mean the exact opposite of the original meaning. Going down and coming straight back up.......when we go up and then straight back down.

Good win today over Palace. Wes with an absolute rocket for the first, Tyson using his pace for the 2nd. On 70 pts now. Just need to keep the pressure on West Brom.

Getting cranked up for the playoffs. At the beginning of the season, no one thought we would be here. Billy and the lads have done a phenomenal job this year. Let's bunker it on that disgrace of a sandbox pitch at Bloomfield Road then stuff 'em at fortress City Ground.
