thought I would start this general soccer news, etc thread, especially for those not wanting to search all of Big Soccer because WE ARE SO DEDICATED TO OUR TEAM!!! and could care less about everybody else. Ok, maybe that's stretching it a bit, but anyway...here goes...post #1: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...w-David-Beckham-to-America-article414363.html
and try to keep it at least related to soccer in the US. all levels. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1679...ackle-23-players-for-the-usa-world-cup-roster
TiTi! AC? We're like France here, buddy. I'd heard about that, and would love to see him in America, and I'll definitely travel to KC to see him, and buy a NY Red Bulls shirt.
Over on the MISL forum, there are talks of expansion and talk of....you guessed it...the Steamers coming back! I know it's indoor soccer but that would be ok with me. I'd welcome them back....AGAIN! Tim
Steamers!? that's Crazy news. Isn't there an indoor team on the Il side? Watching the Tottenham/Man City game from home today. Not sure who to root for. Last year it would have been Tottenham, but Man City has a few of my fave players. Should be a good one.
would love TH14 in America. He's still got enough in the tank to score a lot of goals in MLS. Don't know if I could buy a RedBull jersey but it would be worth a road trip to KC in Arsenal Henry shirt.
Also, my Chivas beat Velez 3-2 in aggregate for the Copa Santalibertadores Ochoquarto Final. Vaya, Vaya Chivas!
If TA does indeed come to MLS right after the World Cup, KC would have already played against NYRB for this season. BUT!!, NYRB @ Chicago, Sunday Aug 8.

Congrats to your Spurs. They weathered the storm in the beginning, then, actually played a better game. They deserved to win. Hope they do well in Champions League....Glad to see Crouch get the goal. He had a spectacular game.

yeah. thanks. I'm ecstatic, can't wait to see next years champions league schedule might have to fly out for a game or two! (were taking third place this weekend by the way, GO FULHAM!!)
waste of money or a smart move? Either way, it's a bold gamble that's for sure. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1698...6/1912443/wps-teams-should-listen-to-the-beat
good luck today Clint! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...mpsey-says-future--Fulhams--written-sand.html
The French National Team Head Coach was asked about why he left off Benzema from the 30 man squad. He said he could still be added in place of someone else by the World Cup. To me this means that if Ching or Johnson or anyone else can't impress Bradley, then Davies can still make it if fit. http://www.soccerbyives.net/soccer_...ckoff-davies-blasts-fc-sochaux-president.html
