I have faith in Klose. He has played little but has been a threat in the few minute he has played...but Podolski? WTF???

Against the minnows, perhaps. I would like to see him score against a team that matters. Say, Agrentina or Brazil or Spain or Italy?

Not saying that either, but better to bring someone who is hot and has confidence than two stone cold players.

He didn't score since over a month. Considered to his playing time and a peaking team, this is hilarious. So, no he isn't on fire and the team doesn't need him.

Pit-sniffing and booger-eating, evidently. He plans to make the opposing team vomit their meals up just watching him...:eek:

I'm just glad that this unnecessary and distracting episode is done with once and for all.

Weather Loew was right or wrong, time will tell. For now, he should get his mind behind coaching the side for the WC without any further ado.

Behind him???? The ONLY vindication he will have is if his forwards score with abandon and ease throughout the WM. otherwise if they have ANY scoring problems he will be out of a job before the BL kicks off it's first game.

Eitherways, my point was that a decision on Kuranyi should have been taken months ago. Either in his favour or against him. No point dragging this issue on for so long. Now, this 'thorn' of an issue out of the way, Loew should concentrate on the WM.

I think Loew was waiting for Kuranyi to start his goal drought, then he has more excuses to kick him out of the NT.

And this is certainly not the best timing for Kuranyi's goal drought, i'm afriad.

Actually the decision was made months ago. Loew decided he is out for disrespecting the team saying as long as he's coach, Kyranyi will not make it. However his recent good form has made the media along with the expert coaches in here call for Kyranyi to save Germany. Still denied.

Thomas Mueller will play at SS/CF. so no conflict between him and Kroos. No worries Squid.

Podolski slapping the captain on the field is more of disrespecting the whole team to me.

I dont care about Kevin that much but I dont see why Kevin would be punished and Poldi not.

    Moreover Kuranyi apologised

I'll try and answer this oft asked question.
    1) Podolski didn't slap Loew. And its quite evident, now at least, that Ballack isn't as vindictive.
    2) Kuranyi is too much of a primadona even without this entire walking away episode. His presence might have a negative influence in the German locker room.
    3) Poldi is the Prinz :p And royalty and we common folk are not subject to the same set of rules.

    Poldi apologized too.

I already explained this to you bud. Loew chose to make an example of some (Kuranyi, Frings) and gave a last warning to the others (Ballack, Poldi). He was losing the locker room and needed to make an example or point. If he would have just kicked everyone at their mistakes, there might have been some type of revolt. So some paid the consequence, others not. Yes, there are double standards but I can understand why Loew chose not to kick all 4 like explained before.

I think you're giving Loew a lot of credit here.

Totally agree. And Loew, to his credit, said Kuranyi was out. Now, instead of growing some balls and sticking to his decision he has been totally silent on whether or not Kuranyi had a chance.

Four games without a goal is hardly a drought. It also is certainly not the first four game run he has gone without scoring either. And whoever said that Kuranyi just popped up on the rader "recently" is not right either' he scored 8 goals in the fall round and ten in the spring...that's called consistency. Anyway, I would rate Kuranyi's strike count against Poldi's or Klose's anyday. And not just this year but consistently over the last several years.

Should not matter. Striking a player and leaving a stadium are totally not the same. In fact, it could be argued the former is MORE of a problem than Kuranyi's cry-baby leaving the stadium.

And Ballack, Poldi and others are not? Many of the players have already said having him would not be an issue. This is a Loew ego issue, nothing more.

Here you are right....there *IS* a double standard which Loew should simply come out and acknowledge. Making up shiite to justify his actions is just stupid. Say, "I made my decision in October 08 and I ahve not changed it."

He's not stubborn. If he were stubborn he would have consistenly said that Kuranyi does not have a chance because of what he did. Loew proved how much of a pu$$y he is by NOT emphatically stating that Kuranyi had not chance at all.

His inability to come out for what he truly believes is exactly why he is a nose-picking, booger-eating, armpit-sniffing putz.

I am glad Low didnt get Kurani as well.. and I hope he doesn’t pick Poldi as well..

this is the national team, not your freakin house.. if you cant respect that, then go play somewhere else ...

in army, if you slap your captain or just decide not to show up for a training then i am very sure you will get your ass kicked..
this is not a mother- son relation where you can slap the son and tell him not to do it again....
I think Muller/Kross/Marin/Kiesbling and Klose would do just fine…
