All I have to say is, holy crap, he's in a zone. Did you guys see him today against Osasuna?! He was everywhere - shooting on goal, phenomenal passing, not to mention scoring (that first one was a beauty, vintage CR; the 2nd was clutch). Do we dare hope that Nani and CR reproduce their current form in another month?!

(Sidenote: That 2 on 0 breakway by Osasuna was hilarious. How did they blow that?!)

In Cristiano's case, it could be that he is totally healthy now and may be regaining his 2008 Manchester United form which would be incredible for Portugal considering Nani is finally developed into the talent he was touted to be. If only Pepe and Bosingwa where healthy and Makukula would be a striker we would be in great shape for the World Cup.

This is truly a touching story. My heart feels for the boy's family and bravo to the coach and Ronaldo for making the boy's wish come true.

Ronaldo just used a 6th gear to reach a ball that everybody had given up on and lobs the goalie to tie the game.

and now the 2nd goal. Again, Sergio Ramos cross. I've heard it said that Sergio and Higuain don't pass to Ronaldo but I don't see that much in evidence here...

Why is it the team as a whole sucks but Ronaldo is doing it himself??

32 goals of the season. CR is in great form.

I'm assuming he will. He is carrying Real Madrid, i'm sure he can do the same for Portugal.

Guy has 32 goals and he missed what 10 games? Not to mention he's playing on a brand new team with people he's never played with before.

He's over the injuries and looks like 2008 Ronaldo.

Oh if he could play like that for Portugal with Nani/Danny also maintaining form our offense could actually be scary.

But we are Portugal so let's not get our hopes up just yet.

he went on another amazing run through the middle of the pitch, must have cut past 2-3, maybe even a fourth was lurking around there before passing it to higuain.

really looking good lately, very elegant to watch these days. Class Player, everyone forgets in euro 2008 he played injured and was taking pain killer injections at half time I hope theres none of that this summer.

maybe barca can drop points to seville and real take the title but.... meh looks unlikely still but ronaldo's effort cant be blamed.

If Ronaldo and Co win la liga and Barca end up with nothing, then I think the tides will be turning in favor of Ronaldo being named the better player of the 2.
