I don't see why developing forum access was necessary when I told you months ago that all you needed to do was install the free TapaTalk plugin for VB boards. It works with iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Nokia phones.

The app has a search feature so anyone with the app for other boards that search for soccer will find your boards.

I use the app for multiple forums. It's great.

    Win all around.

Just so I understand, when you say "app" - which are you referring to?

To clarify, let me restate my last post:

I've been using the tapatalk app on my iPhone with VB forums whose owners have installed the tapatalk plugin.

The tapatalk plugin supports the tapatalk app for iPhone, Android etc.

It's the app that has the search feature for finding boards that tapatalk works with. I use the tapatalk app for reading and posting on multiple forums.

We're tweaking it. And the new app is in Apple's hands for approval.

When using the mobile version of BS (not sure if it's the same as the iPhone app), is there a way to go to the FIRST unread post of a thread? In other words, how can I go straight to the new posts? In the normal version, I'm accustomed to clicking the little blue square to take me to where I left off on my last visit.... Is this possible in the mobile version so that I don't have to surf through numerous pages to get to where I stopped reading or caught up before? Mods or developers help please...

Ok - sorry about that. I'm finding out. Bug me again if you don't hear back in a couple of days. I only have a Blackberry and can't say for sure. Dark Knight - do you know (or anyone else)?

Will there be a lite version of the forum on the ap or for smart phones. I know most didn't like it but I liked how quickly I was able to view threads. I just bookmarked the "My Bigsoccer" and it was easy.

TBH, I feel kinda stupid for buying the ap, its been completely useless. Im not sure what bigsoccer is most known for, but I thought it was for its huge forum, and blogs....not scores, tables, store, etc. I decided to check out the scores, and found out that my team's results hadn't been upddated since April 09. I only bought the ap in the hopes of having a an easier time navigating the forum from my Iphone.

I didn't think my comment was a good idea about the smart phone apps because no one ever replied to it. Maybe it was already in the works when I suggested it. Nice to know there's an app out.

The post date on the app page has been updated to today's date and a version of 1.2, but nothing has changed in the apps discription or screenshots. Does it have forums now and what do they look like?

    @CrewBeat:

    I just updated.

    It does have forums.

Pretty basic implementation. Basically you can drill down to a given thread and then page through it.

It would be great if you could bookmark/follow a given thread, so you don't have to keep navigating from the very top of the hierarchy every time you load the app, and if you could jump 'up' a level in the thread hierarchy, instead of having to back to the very beginning again, and/or if you could access your profile and then jump to a thread form there, but it is great to have forums on this thing now in any shape or form. Presumably this stuff will come in future .versions.

(Or maybe I just haven't figured out how to do this stuff yet?)

If you don't mind, when you get a chance, can you post a screenshot of the forum interface?
