Found a good picture from this weekend, there is some railing space available but not much: I bet we'd be able to lay out a banner or two in the adjacent section if they're empty...
It sounds like a safe bet. NY attendance: Game 1 vs Chicago: 24,572 Game 2 vs Dallas: 13,667 Game 3 vs Philadelphia: 15,619 Capacity: 25,189
Three kids throwing rocks at a bus? Meh, we've faced worse at Chicago and Toronto. This was most likely an isolated incident, like I'm not worried about being choked with my scarf if I go to Seattle after the Portland incident.
Every away match that was traveled by a bus last year we had a debriefing with that teams security and FO, sometimes including league reps and our FO. I'm sure this process will be repeated this year and concerns like that will be brought up. Hopefully Red Bull security will learn from that incident and be better prepared to deal with future issues.
Hey Everyone, I am looking for some one to catch a ride with for the game. I am willing to pay for a tank of gas and spit the cost of a room for the night if you are staying. I will not need a ticket because i will have a press pass
Looking through some of these comments, I hope everyone has a deep appreciation for the work and frustration these guys have to deal with to put these trips together for NO PAY.
Seconded. When we didn't have a bus planned, I was briefly looking at places to rent a van for the trip so more people could fit in one vehicle and that itself was a headache. Thanks to Kevin and the others for getting this together!
I give them props. The past few bus trips I have taken with the supporters turns out like a great time. That's why I rather travel with them.
Do we have word on finalized price yet for the bus? Looking to get my monthly budget set for the month of May.
Well crap, I was emailing with the Union Rep and nobody has dropped out, guess I'll only get to go to the Chivas game on the 15th when I'm down visiting family.
Right now, unless you already know you have a spot on the bus, you're going to need to find another means of transport if you still want to go to NY (tickets are $18). We appreciate that demand exceed supply this time.
sorry, our car is as full as the bus is But hey, I can't believe we're getting a full busload for a Thursday night game. That's awesome. (Plus other people going separately too.) I was afraid this would be one of those deals where kmmc or CrewBeat had to bug people to fill those last 10 seats on the bus.
Cost will be $50. still trying to finalize the departure time, but will most likely be really early on Thursday.
