Ok maybe I'm wrong but once tickets from your TST start to sell, I dont think you can pull the remainder off the market.

And as for Fevernova's post, thats a very good point. Once again something FIFA did not take into consideration in thinking ahead.

Well I've emailed FIFA - hopefully they reply with a quick answer....I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I am a resident of USA. Phase V you bi-passed the residency question and so picked up a Cat 4 ticket which was priced in ZAR. The tickets in Ph 1 and 2 were USD. My reslaes are priced correctly is USD.

Each stadium is divided in four zones identified by a different color: red, blue, yellow and green afaik. It's to make it easier for people to find their seat.

I put up 2 semi final and 2 final tickets that I can't use for re-sale. Still says they're up for resale. As these games are sold out, what's happening? They don't seem to appear on the site as ever available? I put them up on the 15th and the summary page looks OK with the correct amounts. Anyone re-sold semi or final tickets yet? Being one of the 1st to resell, you would have thought they might have sold by now!!??

I had the same reaction as I've put up Joburg QF tickets, the Durban R16 game and England v Algeria in Cape Town for resale, all of which have been unavailable. FIFA seems to be waiting for some unknown reason (getting enough tickets to put signficant quantities up on the web site, keeping good tickets off the market in hopes that people will buy games that have lagged in terms of demand, etc.).

    ZAR instead of USD problem

For anyone interested. I can confirm that I had the problem when reselling tickets, the refund amount was in X ZAR instead of X USD.

I guessed that this was because I purchased additional tickets in the current phase in ZAR unwittingly (didn't ask me where I was resident and assumed I was SA resident).

Since then I have purchased more tickets and selected my residency as 'other country' and paid in USD.

Now when I attempt to resell tickets the amount is shown in USD instead of ZAR as it should.

    Here's a baffler for everyone...

If I go to Ticket Summary, it says "Ticket to Resale" under status for all 3 of my games BUT if I go to My Tickets, it says "Sold" for all 4 tickets to 1 of my games.

    What's the deal with that?

Sure but wouldnt it be reflected under Ticket Summary rather than in a section where I would be going if I wanted to adjust my choice?

I have the same thing, i.e. tickets listed as "ticket sold" and unable to be reclaimed on the first screen and listed as "tickets to resale" on the summary. Clearly they have bugs in the system. But what are you going to do? I assume they are sold as I can't reclaim them, but I guess you never know.

I suspect it is either or both of

    1) They are still expecting returns for these games and want to sell those first. they already have your money and my money but could lsoe a potential sale by reselling our tickets.

    2) Trying to encourage people to buy for other games eg pretend Cape Town is sold out so drive to Port Elizabeth, pretend Jo'burg is sold out so drive to Polokwane/Nelspruit.

Hey guys, lets keep a list of what games people are offering here for resale and what has already been sold. That way we can know when certain games are finally being sold by Fifa.

I'll keep it updated and will start.

    Up for resale:
    20
    29
    32

    Sold:

I advise people to check the "My Tickets" area to see if any of their tickets have sold. For the longest, I was looking at "Summary" and all it would say is "Tickets for Resale" until one day I went to "My Tickets" and noticed my Game 29 had sold all 4 tickets to it.

Interesting that you sold 29, whereas mine is still unsold. I'm not sure what to make of that at this point.

Wouldn't it be nice to receive an email when some of the resale tickets are sold?
