    Hi Timanfaya

    Thanks for your response.

The two cards are both VISA cards. One of them superseeded the other card (which was cancelled due to fraud alert). Both have different card numbers.

I have called my bank (for reference it's a UK bank). And the short version of the answer is that I will get the money refunded to my card in this scenario. All the numbers are linked to an account for the VISA card. The only reason why it wouldn't go through is if I close my account that the credit card is linked to (i.e. cancel my credit card facility with my bank). In which case the account would be closed and the refund wouldn't go through (it'd bounce back to FIFA).

I have 4 category 1 for Spain vs. Switzerland that are now listed as "Ticket Sold." I still have tickets to other matches listed as "Ticket to Resale," but it does look like the sales are starting to go through.

Thanks for this info. Did anyone that put their tickets up via the link provided (the one that only lasted a few hours April 15/16 before getting that maintenance statement) get a sold update - just want to make sure these are in their main database and not sitting in some redundant database somewhere!

Should we be seeing these resales flash up (orange to yellow) on the buy site - maybe they are but they get eaten up so quickly! Maybe they appear somewhere else first - very interesting.

No, but I mentioned on an earlier post that the tickets I put up on the 15/16 did not appear correctly this week on the revamped pages, so I recovered them and put them up for resale again.

But looking at the warning on the resale page about recall not working I'm wondering whether I made it worse...particularly as I'd expect 2xCat 3 for Holland vs Cameroon in Cape Town to be quick resellers (they have not sold yet).

But who know with this website...maybe they'll get sold twice and I'll make a profit!

If I remember rightly in sales phases 1 and 3, not everyone heard back from FIFA on the same day about the outcome of their application, I expect it would be a similar principle here with tickets being resold but sellers not hearing back at the same time.

    More FAQs

Can I allow one of my guests to become the main applicant on my application?
No, Ticket Applicants are not permitted to transfer the Ticket allocated to the Ticket Applicant himself. If the Ticket Applicant is unable to attend the match for which he has purchased Tickets, then he may submit all of his Tickets for possible resale under the Ticket Resale programme.

How will tickets be entered back into resale? Will it be through the normal sales channel?
Any Tickets that are offered for resale will be entered back into the General Public Ticket allocation and will be sold on a first come first served basis. There is no guarantee that demand for Tickets will result in the Tickets being resold. If the Ticket Applicant’s Tickets are not resold, no resale proceeds will be returned to the Ticket Applicant.

Once my ticket has been entered for resale can I purchase more Tickets?
Yes. Household restrictions will be increased to 10 Tickets per Match, and a maximum of 7 Matches during the Last Minute Sales Phase (LMS). Tickets purchased in any of the previous Sales Phases will not be taken into account for the LMS Household Restrictions.

Once my ticket has been entered for resale, can I recall it?
Yes, a Ticket Applicant can change his/ her mind, and take his/ her Tickets out of the programme at any time, so long as the Tickets have not yet been resold.

I put up my tickets for sale April 15th, and it still shows "tickets for resale" under Summary. Strange, because it's 4 Cat1 tickets for game 58, which is sold out. Put them up for sale now, plzzzz!

    I have a pair of TST-4 tickets.
I only want to resell the two tickets to one of the four games I have. Is it possible to just sell 2 tickets to a single game awarded? If so, could you explain how?
    Thanks!

No. You have to sell the TST-4 as a whole according to FIFA.
Can't break it up. Look up the earlier posts on TST resale.

I have put an England TST 7 category 3 up for resale on the FIFA site. Can't actually see it listed anywhere so suggest you call them and ask if you're interested.

Has anyone purchased tickets in this sales phase and then attempted to resell other tickets they have purchased in a previous sales phase?

    If so:

For the tickets purchased in this phase were they in USD or ZAR?

For the tickets listed for resale in this phase (after the having made the purchase) are they being potentially refunded in USD or ZAR?

(This is in follow up to other posts trying to identify the cause of an issue whereby tickets were purchased for X USD but only being refunded in X ZAR (which is obviously a lot less))

I just tried to re-sell a single ticket for 5 different matches. However, under the "My Tickets" tab it is saying that I've put 9 tickets up for sale for each of these 5 games. Anyone else had this problem?

I can confirm a purchase I made in ZAR April 15 followed by listing tickets purchased in phase I and II for sale April 16. I didn't get the problem you outlined.

I don't have any tickets to sell whatsoever but just a heads up to those wishing to offload TST tickets...

I contacted FIFA today to buy a TST7 and was told it's not possible to get tickets in TST format anymore... you can now only purchase tickets to individual games...

Doesn't that put people with TSTs in a pickle, as, if you have a unpopular game in your series, you're not going to get your refund while FIFA earn (almost) double the ticket revenue? Seems grossly unfair...

Are you a resident of SA which is why you bought tickets in the last phase in ZAR or you were given no option to choose your country of residence online ?
The tickets that you bought in Phase 1 and 2, were they in USD or ZAR ?

Given that TST tickets can no longer be purchased, does anyone know how the processing of TST series tickets is being handled for resales?

Can anyone confirm that they've successfully resold a TST series ticket?

I listed 2 Category 1 TST 7 Italy tickets for re-sale on the FIFA website 2 days ago.... I would love to know how anyone will have an opportunity to buy them - I have emailed FIFA asking them what the deal is - I am awaiting a reply. If anyone has any info please post.

You really need to scroll back like a page to get your answer.

FIFA says you cant buy TSTs, only single tickets...which means your TST resale will be sold as single tickets and if ALL of them are not sold, then you are screwed!

how would they even sell a split tst 4/5/6/7 when the R16, QF, SF locations will not be known until 6/22-6/25.... i wonder if they even put this into consideration.... the only good thing is if you are looking for a QF/SF ticket you may get a bunch on the site after the group stage games are over.

Shaun that is not correct - Don't forget you can choose to take your tickets off the resale site - So FIFA can not sell individual tickets from someones TST series. For example If all my TST 7 tickets except for Italy vs Slovakia have been sold and then I decided to go to South Africa what happens to all those people that purchased my other tickets? It is impossible for FIFA to split up a TST series.
