I saw this on Daum http://kr.news.yahoo.com/sports/uefa/view?aid=20100415055155897i1 and googled and found this: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080615180207AAosvlA http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_David_Silva's_nationality "David Silva's mother is Korean and his father is a Spaniard He was brought up in Spain and therefore plays for the Spanish National Football team He speaks fluent Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Basque He has his name in Korean tatooed on his gluteous maximus"
WOAH is this for real?! unbelievable!! if only Silva chose to play for Korea!!!!!! and LOL at having tattoo on his ass.
Why do I doubt this? EDIT: In all honesty, whenever I watched David Silva play I always thought to myself: "Dude's got an unusual look ... reeks of .... Oriental.."
I just hate when the mix kids mother is the korean. I would love to see more Korean father with ______ mother Few I can remember are Denis Kang the mma fighter. And Jimmy Wang Yang (not his real name) the wwe wrestler
His mother is not full Korean, she just has Korean blood as her dad or grandad is Korean, i think. That makes Silva part of us! LOL
Hmm interesting. A Spanish article on him says his mother side's grandpa was a Korean sailor. He had a daughter who married a Spanish man, and between them David Silva was born. What's interesting about the background is that, the Korean and Spanish government made some sort of an fishery agreement which allowed Korean fleets access to fishing grounds near Las Palmas. About 3000 Koreans went there in 1966 to fish for the Korean government. lol the article reads, "of this fishery agreement David Silva was born".
Haha, like they would care. I get called "Chino" all the time when I play with my friends, they don't bother going into specifics
Holy shizz i only guessed that her mother's dad or grandpa was Korean but i was correct!!! i think i am the new baby Jesus
if i understand spanish surnames correctly, his other name jimenez comes from his mother and silva comes from his father. if his mother's father was korean and she got jimenez from the korean grandfather, what's the deal?
I don't think the numbers add up. Villa's 'Korean' Grandfather is part of the 1966 fishing fleet, has a child right away with a Spanish woman circa 1966. That makes Villa's mother 44 years old. Villa is 28 years old. She would have been 16 when she had DV. I guess it's possible although unlikely.
