Can't believe your club put down a plastic pitch in their stadium. Wow. What has happened to the giants of Costa Rican football?
All about saving $$$, too costly to maintain natural grass during the very rainy seasons. The freefall´s been going on the entire year, and the fans´ frustration came out in the last game against Cartagines. Hopefully the new coach can turn things around.

Diego Estrada is a good prospect...he was pretty sick against Argentina...but i don't think he's ready for a strong European league (maybe Spanish 2nd division if he leaves soon). I hope he stays with la Liga for another year...or maybe he can impress a club from France when we play France this summer. I think Marcos Urena is almost ready to join a strong league....hope our shiity agents don't send them to Norway or Austria like they are trying to do with Cristian Gamboa who doesn't deserve that.
Just watching the Clasico tonight, thought maybe there would be folks around to discuss it. Sure is a treat to be able to watch the game.
We played well at times especially before Saprissa scored...but Saprissa was the better team and deserved to win. Very disappointed in Estrada and Urena. - Diego Estrada was invisible...ever since his solid performace against Argentina he has had more bad games than good with Alajuelense...needs to regain his form from some of the matches of the U-20 WC. Hope all the talk about him being the next Wilmer Lopez hasn't gotten to his head . - Marco Urena - has been crap ever since the rumors of him heading to Europe and keeps trying to be the star and making stupid mistakes. I'm seeing i was wrong about Urena being ready for a strong league (hope he goes to Belgium so he can learn how to use his talent properly like Bryan Ruiz did). The only positives of the team were... - Christopher Menezes shows a lot of promise for the future (maybe Bryan Oviedo's backup if he can continue playing well) played a solid match for being his first "clasico". - Argenis Fernandez always a good dangerous sub with his speed, his shot that hit Drummonds hand should've been a penalty but oh well. Saprissa was the better team... the fair result would've been maybe a 3-1 if Josue Martinez didn't miss the easy chances...the good thing is we don't have to wait too long for our rematch

I hope I am wrong in the long run, but Martinez looks more and more like a Sabo 2.0...missing easy scoring chances like it was going out of style. At least Sabo has the excuse of being a tronco, but Martinez is quick and nimble, so what gives?
