Wrap this one in orange and black! After three tries, Hull learns how to hang on to a lead. (tip: make it a two goal lead).
What a great performance. Huge 3 points. Hull are out of the drop zone! Jozy was amazing, Hunt, JVOH, and Cairney were great. This team is only gonna improve when Bullard gets healthy.
Unbelievable, you can see in his face how much that goal meant to him. Twitter update soon I'd imagine. Very proud of Jozy
yep nice goal...hoping it's just a minor knock ...and he comes right back to start next game.....which is next Wednesday vs. Blackburn.....
plz tell me what that means...all the time i watch telefutura during mls matches and i still dont know what that translates to
Jozy was the best player on the field today. JVOH won a lot of headers, Hunt was everywhere, but Jozy owned the Citeh back line all day. That's 3 very good performances in a row and the goal curse is gone...let's hope for bigger and better things ahead!
More important than the goal, this is the third strong performance from Jozy in a row. Drawing yellows, FK's, and a penalty. Assisting. Scoring. Physically imposing play. Including a game against Chelsea no less.
The other thing I noticed was the way his teammates celebrated WITH him and FOR him - it was a mob scene, more players around him than for the usual strike for the average player. His attitude in training and infectious personality has seemingly made him very popular even within the club. As a Red Bulls fan who has loved him from the very first 30+ yard audacious strike for my #1 club as basically a 17 year old prodigy, I'm so happy for him!
Besides the goal, this was his best game to date simply because his work rate was the best I've seen it. Good things happen to those who work their tail off. Keep it up Jozy. Well done today!
