It's tough to get any tix. anymore with all the games selling out. Ticket exchange or Ticketmaster seem to be the only options nowadays. Lower bowl = $100 min.
I will be invading the Verizon Center on Sunday wearing my Penguins Jersey, Penguins Hat, replica Stanley Cup Ring, and stick on "Crosby Tears of Joy". I will even bring a minature replica stanley cup so Ovie has something to play with this summer.
I wanted to go see the game vs Canadien Montreal, the minimum ticket I could find was $50, I didn't spend that kind of money to go see the Real Madrid game at Fedex Field, so I gave up. Maybe when they'll suck again and tickets will be back at 20~30$ I'll go...
I was there tonight and it was a good time. The tickets are really pretty expensive, but the way this team is performing now, they can and do charge a lot. I wonder if the Penguins will even make it in for the Sunday game, given the weather. If you are invading the Verizon center, you may be alone!
I don't want them to suck again, but it does suck that cheap tickets are hard to find now. I didn't pay $50 for any of the playoff games I went to last year. Even earlier in the season, tickets were easy to find. At this point, I'm probably just going to save up for a few playoff games.
