What the hell are you talking about neither of those sites are confirmed nor have they been accepted by the city...

The stadium has nothing similar to RBA or any other European stadium...it looks like a freaking mini Home Depot Center....

oozzing with jealousy...yeah im jealous that my team has one of the biggest and monstrous stadiums in the world and we dont get to sit next to soccer mom over there...haha

    GTFO here man

I don't think the money is all there yet. I thought they still needed another 10 mil from the county before construction could begin, particularly at the downtown site.

Seriously, do some of you have anything to add to the conversation instead of acting like a bunch of immature kids? If you want to do that, go to the world rivalry forum.

Which stadium is set in stone before the shovel is set to the ground? BS? I gave you the link that blows a hole in your opinion that the Dynamo have no money and no land to build on.

Seriously, why don't you go find some pictures of Mexican stadiums (present and future) and post in this thread so we all can enjoy instead of being a little immature kid and causing problem for other posters that are contributing.

Mexico has some nice stadiums, but there are quite a few ugly, out of date, monstrosities even in the top division. Mexican football isn't all Cuauhtemoc, Corregidora, Jalisco, and Azteca. Quite a few of them make an average American college football stadium look luxurious.

If you have read the link I provided (very recent link), the money is there. Even though the location is not set yet there are land options and one is privately own piece of land.

Even if Tano09Xsiempre lives in Houston, he isn't an MLS fan and he isn't up to date with every that's going on with MLS stadiums.

Man, why does every thread have to be a thrash talking thread for you guys?

I read those links but they didn't mention that the money is all there. In fact they fail to address the 10 million shortfall that has been holding the project up now for months.

    ^^^ thank you

thats been going on for a few weeks..i dont need to be an MLS fan to listen to the freaking radio and they keep mentioning that they dont have a freaking site and they dont have enough money for it....

Namdynamo...Stadiums are set in stone when the development project is set. a site is set. and a date to start construction is set. and all the financing is set...

Dynamo doesnt have anything set in stone dude...

I think we are being reasonable saying its not a done deal therefore it shouldt be a topic of discussion just yet...and your brought this to urself talking about that model shown looked close to RBA or a European stadium...you are full of shit my friend...its a terrible design...

Celtigo...you are right...there are some shit stadiums that need to be refurbished asap

The $10 million short only if they are building on the public land.
If they are building it on the privately own land, they don't need that cash.

Is there a rule why the stadiums have to be set in stone in order to post pics? There are a bunch of pics of future Mexican stadiums in this thread and in the Mexican stadium thread that have nothing even close to be set in stone.

Do you argue just to argue, why don't you post some pics like fdp instead.

Can you show me a post where I said that it is about to start construction? I have post many times that it isn't set in stone yet but the money is there and the land options are there. You on the other hand said that they have no money and no land options to build it at all. Here is your original quote:

Since you have posted some pics of stadiums before, now can we put all this behind us and get back to posting pics of stadiums?

Tano from a fellow Mex poster I should say that I do support your argument and your opinions. However on the bolded part of your post I think is out of line. This is a neutral forum and those type of comments lead to pissing matches.

I'm not saying we have to get along. I wouldn't want this place to get boring ;), but lets keep it civil compa. Now continue :)
