I'm hoping the FO subsidizes the buses Hopefully our roadtrip people and the Barra's roadtrip people are relentlessly bugging Kyle after his post.
I think this is a fantastic idea by the team. I don't see how anyone can view Kyle's message as a negative.
??? I haven't read any "idea" from the team - just that they would be the exclusive seller of tickets to DCU fans. You could assume they have an idea about transportation or something, but all we've heard is "stay tuned". Perhaps it would have been smarter to wait until the actual alleged ideas were better formed around that statement before making it on the main forum, but I guess it gives us something to be nervous and excited about Either way, I'm sure we'll find ourselves a way to Philly (a cheap bus or my car probably) and with seats to stand in front of in the stadium
The Screaming Eagles are officially announcing our Road Trip to Philadelphia on 10 April 2010. We will be offering 3 packages for the match in Philadelphia: · Option 1 Ticket Only – I cannot offer information about ticket distribution as Philadelphia is not giving ticketing information at this time · Option 2 Ticket & Bus – Usual ticket and bus combination · Option 3 Ticket, Bus, and Hotel room in Atlantic City – this will be in conjunction with the Bara Brava. We will be taking a bus to Atlantic City on Friday night for some gambling and fun. A hotel room will be included in the cost in Atlantic City (room & price based on double occupancy). Saturday morning we will depart from Atlantic City and meet all the other DC United Supporter’s in Philadelphia for tailgating. At this time I DO NOT HAVE PRICES for any of the ticket packages. Philadelphia has not released how many tickets are available to the supporter groups or even how much the tickets will cost. It appears there is a possibility ALL DC United fans may be limited to a certain number of tickets by Philadelphia. These tickets will be split evenly among the supporter groups for DC United. I am taking names on a first come, first served basis. For those of you who have already contacted me I have you on the list (I ask that you please respond to the last e-mail I sent you with which option you are interested in and how many tickets). If this is the first time you are inquiring about the road trip please include your name, your current Screaming Eagles membership status for the 2010 season, ticket package you are interested in, and how many tickets you would like (I cannot guarantee you the number you have requested until I know how many tickets we are being allocated).
