This was mentioned at a local sports radio KJR. Another profitable year for the league (30% cut of Seattle gate receipts) and for the Sounders ownership.

31,000 season tickets? Amazing. Well done Seattle. That is more than our local NFL teams (the Jags and Bucs).

Seattle is freakin' awesome. I'm pretty sure they're doing it, but I just hope they maintain high demand.

That's incredible. It looks lke they are going to outdraw in total attendance the other football team that uses Qwest.

How long have Colorado and Dallas been subsidizing DC and their lease in RFK? STFU.

Whose Colorado FC? If you're going to claim to be a fan of this league, it would behoove you to actually know the names of the teams in this league.

DC United only averaged 3,000 more fans than Colorado last year. And since DC plays at RFK, I would think that Colorado actually made more off ticket sales.

That is amazing what Seattle has done as far as fan attendance, if they would just get rid of the turf...

some philly fans have said that their fo have told them that the sounders plan on opening up the entire stadium for the opening match on march 25th. as a sth for the sounders, i haven't heard anything official about if this is true or not. i was wondering if anyone else has heard if it's true or not. 67,000 for an mls match would be quite a spectical!

Congrats, I always look forward to watching a Sounders game on TV. I just hope NY follows trend with there new stadium.
Even though they have only sold 4000 season tickets.

i think it's time to change name to NY Cosmos. Personally i think this move would sell out season tickets, but what do I know, right ?

That was last season, the economy sucks. DC usually averages about
    19,000 fan's a game.
