March 13, Red Bull U18's play the U17 US Men's team. http://www.mlsnet.com//news/team_ne...nt_id=7968616&vkey=pr_rbn&fext=.jsp&team=t107 Tickets are free, but must be acquired in advance. Full season ticket holders automatically get tickets in their seats.
I'll be there, and early. Mine is going to be the first butt in my seat (and several others if they aren't already sitting by the time I get there...)
I'm in a similar boat, viper, and just as pi**ed. I think I'm booked on the set-up for the Rock&Roll HOF inductions that weekend. (The museum is in Cleveland, but they usually do the induction ceremony in a hotel ballroom in NY... go figure.) I'm praying that the set-up days somehow get moved, but that's extremely unlikely. To quote viper again:
The only "opening" I can't attend. At least my first experience in RBA will be a (hopefully) sold out crowd for the Santos friendly.
Yeah, I won't be there either (I can't complain too much, as I'll be seeing a different game at Stamford Bridge that day). No one better sit in my seat, dammit!
Some other new york news. Mexico-Ecuador possible at New Meadowlands? http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?...v=ap&type=lgns Would Red Bull fans likely go to this just to see the new stadium in action?
Ditto. I will see the new stadium in due time. I have ZERO urge to sit among tens of thousands of Mexican fans again following the Gold Cup debacle last summer.
I am getting tickets to this whether I can go or not. Nobody is sitting in my seats before me!!! (at least to my knowledge)
