Well - my batting average is shot
Rampage at LaRaZa - would like to see a Rampage win so I will go with that
Wave at Baltimore - Wave has been tough against Blast
    However:
Wave has quite a few pitfalls right now - injuries have plagued them and they are on quite a run against Baltimore - they have to lose one to them you would think - but maybe not
Therefore - I think it will be a good game to watch with no prediction from me cuz I am to chicken to predict a winner because in all reality I am just not sure who will win this one - although I think the Blast tip the scales just a bit

As I'm down in Big D, I'm heading to the Texas Outlaws v Denver game on Saturday. My old pal Mike Barack from my IHL and RHI days is part of the Texas Brahmas hockey team that shares the same complex as the Outlaws, he actually was the first person I ever met who was involved in indoor soccer and it was my conversation with him that got me intrigued with the game.

In my conversation with him of late he was saying that the hockey rink only sits about 2200 and the indoor soccer isn't played in the hockey rink, there is a side building that houses the games that adjoins a bar. He was saying the Brahmas are selling out the place and the Outlaws have a table at all Brahmas games that sell tix.

It'll be my first PASL game. He was telling me that the Outlaws even have a radio contract.

Looking forward to seeing some indoor soccer, my last game was a Mass Twisters game in an unheated horse barn in the middle of winter. At least this place appears to be purpose built for indoor.

    Cool shelts.

The Outlaws are in the same building, but the two fields are separated by a hallway.

Hopefully Texas can regroup after getting outscored 58-16 on their 4 game road trip. They were playing really well until they tanked the US Open game. And then they lost Shaun David to Monterrey and injuries.

Looking forward to a review of this game. I believe you will be in a converted ice hockey rec facility, but better than a horse barn I am sure. My guess is the atmosphere will be the same as a Twister tilt so don't get yer hopes up.

This game is in Rockford, not Monterrey.

Ya I don't know. Bear in mind the unheated horse barn was an MISL game and this is PASL. Using the Major in MISL that game should be better. My friend said the Outlaws are not a mickey mouse outfit and are trying to put on a true game experience (game experience is a hockey term for total value for your dollar and is over used).

I'll give them a chance and go with an open mind.

It's too bad both Texas and Denver are hit with the injury bug. Of Denver's top 6 players, only Tony Avery is healthy. I'm not sure what the status of some of the inured starters are for this weekend, but Avery (#9) will almost surely be the man to watch for Denver.

If you want to be technical about it, that game was a National Indoor Soccer League Game. I don't think you'll find anyone arguing there was anything Major about the Twisters.

The Blast are wearing their special U.S. Army jerseys for Saturday's game and will have a silent auction for the jerseys with the proceeds going to the Family Readiness Group-Baltimore Batallion. A popular promotion and a good cause, I just can't remember the Blast ever winning when they have run this promotion.

well here is hoping that the auction is a great success as I think our Rampage Autism one was. I hope you guys could somehow have an actual TIE with the wave, but that can't happen...unless we have another rule change....sorta like I want for next year as well. :D

    Getting in last-minute predictions:

    Rockford 13
    Monterrey 8
(Close until an empty-netter at the end)

    Baltimore 11
    Milwaukee 9
(Special camouflage uniforms allow Blast to sneak in to Wave backfield undetected for the winning goal)

Rockford over Monterrey and Wave over Baltimore. Both close games.

Agree about Rockford winning, but feel B-more will beat the Wave again as last weekend. haven't looked if Milwaukee will be at full strength, but the Camo-jerseys will throw the Wave off.

    Rampage 18 - 7 La RaZa
    B-more 14 - 8 Wave

i expect the blast to come out on top 13-8 & sagu will score a goal with the new rule change LOL

Rampage lost 4-2. La raza played very tough , alot of fouls, and blue cards. The Rampage played very flat. I don't know what was going on with Steward, but he didn't played well.
Marco Sullo did a nice job standing up to the big guys in La raza. Capt Chaos nice job pissing off the goalie!! He is a Jack ass.

and I just love the uncertainty of it all - maybe no team in Chicago has given me a whole new perspective on this sport and this could be a good thing!!
