Currently Los VerdiBlancos are in 4th place, only 3 points off the pace to get back in La Liga. Busting up Villareal B atm.

What a bunch of sinverguenzas as they gave up two goals to the cellar team in Segunda in the first 7 minutes of the match then stood around playing with their fingers up their arses and lost 2-0, to once again give the Betico faithful who made the roadtrip another reason to question why spend the gas money and admission money to see these mercenaries and sinverguenzas from Lopera FC play!

    Here is video of match:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppXjGgiOhqk"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppXjGgiOhqk[/ame]

And to top it off Oli who got canned at Cadiz CF is continuing to do his damnest to take Betis B to Tercera Division as they tied at home 0-0 against Relegation zone Moratalla!

The buffoonery and dysfunctional club structure beginning with Lolo down to the guy who changes the toilet paper rolls at the stadium is just amazing!!

Things are looking up. Los VerdiBlancos are back in 3rd position. 3-0 win over 'Nastic was the shot in the arm the club needed. Now if Los VerdiBlancos can keep this form for the rest of the season, it's a wrap....Return to La Liga.

Attendance 25K which means the Beticos are still showing their disapproval of Lolo and with the second half of season tickets payments coming up I would imagine that many who bought the first half of season tickets will not renew for the second half.

Betis once again shows their ugly face as they lose 2-0 to a direct rival of theirs in the fight for promotion Real Sociedad. They are now in 5th place with 26 points tied with Numancia and Salamanca, 9 behind Real Sociedad who is the leader, 7 points behind Hercules, 3 points behind Cartagena and 1 point behind Rayo Vallecano.

Here is the review of the match:

SE IMPUSO EN ANOETA CON GOLES DE CARLOS BUENO Y XABI PRIETO (2-0)

La Real acaba líder el año y deja 'tocado' al Betis

    * Los locales llegaban en estado de gracia a este partido después de ganar tres de los cuatro últimos compromisos y firmar una racha memorable, la mejor de Anoeta, de seis encuentros consecutivos ganados, que ahora ha sido superada con este triunfo.

Real Sociedad 2 Real Betis 0
    Ficha técnica
2.-Real Sociedad: Bravo; Estrada, Ansotegi, Labaka, Mikel González; Rivas (Markel Bergara, min. 84), Elustondo, Xabi Prieto, Nsue (Griezmann, min. 70), Zurutuza (Aranburu, min, 77); Bueno.

0.-Betis: Goitia; Fernando Vega, Arzu, Melli, Nelson; Iriney (Rodri, min. 78), Mehmet Aurelio (Caffa, min. 58), Nacho (Capi, min. 73), Emaná, Juanma; Sergio García.

    Goles:
    1-0, min. 30: Carlos Bueno.
    2-0, min. 85: Xabi Prieto.

Yes, tuff match in San Sebastián (Beautiful City btw). Long trip to the town & you can believe it was a hostile environment. You are right. The team showed no spine. Wilted like expected. It will be a fight to return to La Liga. A lot a turmoil @ the club, when everyone should focus on one thing only...Return to La Liga. This club could end up like Leeds Utd. I don't want to see this happen. I don't know what to do. I guess I will ask Santa to restore stability to the club.

Betis had that spell like Leeds Utd. when they were in Tercera Division in the 40-50's. The only way to restore ability to the club is when the judge handling the Lopera fraud trial finds him guilty and sends him to jail for as long as possible. This coming 30 December is the annual stockholder meeting which is a waste of time since Lolo owns 54% of the clubs shares.

Fans at the Santa Justa Train Station in Sevilla to welcome home the mighty Real Betis team after losing that hard fought match against Numancia yesterday 3-0 played at a balmy 22 degrees temp at KO.

I love the irony in the fans as they tell the players they must be tired for all the hard work they displayed during the match!!:D

    It's a classic!

    Hello all Beticos!

I'm doing a project at my College in England and wondered if you wouldn't mind answering a couple of initial questions for me?

    1. How much is an individual Adult and an individual Child ticket for a game this season compared to last season?

    2. It is clear that many of you find Lopera culpable for your current plight, how financially stable is the club?

    Thanks in advance!

I read somewhere that Ramos won't come to Betis, because Lopera still owes him about 39 million pesetas

No according to what the press said if you can believe them  Ramos bought some property that was retail oriented, with the housing bust it sits empty and he has quarterly payments and they are huge. He asked that part of his salary be Lolo making these payments. Once again I don't believe this story but as we all know Lolo can never be the bad guy and it's always someone elses fault. I am wishing for a Salamance win so that Tapia finally gets hung to dry and a new coach will arrive.

It's sad but this team is the identical case study of the Oakland Raiders, just substitute Lolo for Al Davis and the results are the same. No sane coach wants to coach the Raiders or Betis, fans season tickets are plummeting for both teams, 33K at Mount Davis for the final game, less then 20K at the Villamarin; players who are winners leave the team so they can play on teams that make the playoffs or CL/UEFA. Mediocre players remain because the presidents refuse to sell them at a loss, Jamarcus Russel, Arzu, Capi etc., and the coaches have to either suit em up or faith the wrath of not playing them, ie Cable benching Russell, etc.

What a shame my two favorite teams with bipolar owners!! :(

Betis defeated Salamance 1-0 in front of a sparse crowd of just over 20K. Betis did not shoot at the goal until the 55th minute when they scored their only goal of the match a shot by Carlos Garcia off a Caffa corner as the Salamanca defenders were slow to cover him as he moved in the area.

Except for Dani missing an empty netter after an excellent pass by Sergio Garcia in the 90+ minute Salamanca outplayed, outhustled and outshot Betis but couldn't finish off the plays inside the box. The 3 points are important if Betis is to get promoted but once again their play as of late leaves a lot to be desired.

I would imagine that next week after they lose to Levante on the road that Tapia will get the boot!

    Huy Dani

How in the hell did he miss? I wouldn't be surprised if he shed some tears in the locker room

The fact that Lopera FC had to bring Dani back to keep their aspirations of promotion just shows you how low this team has gone and the lack of talent is mindboggling!

Betis has signed forward Jonathan Pereira for a 5 year contract. He was on loan from Villareal to Racing, at the same time Betis and Branko Ilic who was on loan to Moscow FC agreed to rescind the remaining two years of his contract with Betis.

Tapia actually lasted longer then I thought he would as I had predicted a Christmas exit. Now returning to Betis to coach is Victor Fraudez who was dumb enough to get paid for a little Lopera S&M and coach the team.

Lolo via Lopera FC Radio is once again in hot water as the station insulted Gordillo who is God for us Beticos!

    Hello Everyone,

Just a general question here...Do they sell Real Betis Kits with "Andalucia" in the front of the jersey? Most of the ones I found are blank. I'm usually not a big fan of sponsors, but this is an exception.

Also, does anyone know of any good sites (besides uksoccershop.com ebay.com and soccer-spain.com) which sell Real Betis Kits? Most stores in America sell a new kit at $90.00+shipping, and I feel its a ridiculous price.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

The official store which is Lolo's money stream charges 72 euro which is 100 bucks.

Good Beticos boycott Betis products until Lolo sells his shares and leaves the city once and for all. Betis does not sell jerseys with Andalucia.

Technically, if rockandawe buys from an eBay fan, that isn't putting money into Lolo pockets. It is already been put in there. I would suggest stay on eBay. BTW, I don't have an official jersey. The jersey that I have is some wacked-out piece from the 90's.
