It generally doesn't get that cold in England....it sure as hell ain't Fargo or even close to Chicago in winter weather.
Yes, can anyone recommend a website where you can buy premier league matches after they've aired? It's not easy to figure it out. It's annoying because CL games are so easy to buy on their website.
I saw a passing reference on one of the Everton fan boards about the game being archived there for later viewing. Can't recall where, exactly. Might have been grandoldteam.com.
Don't sweat it too much, man... I had three or four different streams up, and they all kept freezing or going down. I caught probably about 30 or 40 minutes of game action that Donovan was in myself. He'll be on FSC next weekend against Man City. My DVR will be warmed up and ready to go.
I figured McBride's goal against Kasey might have come close - but it didn't: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28203&highlight=McBride+Everton
i think i can almost personally guarantee that this match will be up for people to 'view' soon enough, but you cant really beat live match in snow with Landy in England for the first time.
It's miles ahead of the next closest contender. And yes, wow, I have way too much time on my hands today. 1. Jan '10: Donovan debuts for Everton | 766 posts 2. March '08: Friedel, McBride, Dempsey, Bocanegra, Keller, Eddie Johnson feature as Fulham meets Blackburn | 421 3. Aug '08: Gooch helps shut out Liverpool in Champions League | 403 4. May '08: Fulham beats Portsmouth on final day to avoid relegation | 391 5. Sept '08: Altidore debuts for Villareal | 377
Landon starting (though we didn't know that for sure) in the Premiership at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium HAS to be considered more noteworthy than any of those except possibly the Fulham relegation derby. Just read/watched the post-game comments and it sounds very much like this was exactly the sort of debut I'd hoped for from Landon, and this was indeed a good move to a good fit of a side that can use him. Especially happy that Moyes played him on the right wing instead of sticking him in at striker (that bodes well for the duration of his stay). Hopefully he finds his regular fitness level soon; he probably should without too much difficulty.

I am replaying the match on veetle: http://veetle.com/viewChannel.php?cid=4b286d128bc08 I will try to keep this up for a couple days, at least. Enjoy
I was confident in my guess, but this thread did seem extraordinarily long. I'm kinda surprised that Adu wasn't in the top 5 once. But like I said, there was a perfect storm to get as many people as possible able to watch the game and provide input. This record will probably stand for quite some time.
Saw the game live on Setanta -Directv...would give LD A- today. Would like for him to take on a defender 1 v 1 a little more in the open field, other than that a solid performance. His speed is still there, might have been the fastest player on the pitch. Havent been this excited about a EPL game in a long time, its great to see an american have such a big impact, cant wait for next week.
Thus far, things that are about as encouraging or slightly more so than most of what's being said on this thread. I missed the game. [Bangs head against desk, again.] But reading both here and the reading/listening to the English pundits and both managers, it's nearly unanimous that he made a positive impact on the game and was one of the game's more notable performers without quite managing to take over the match.
Yeah, I'm not quite getting the comments about LD's defense. I thought he played very well on defense. I'm glad not to see him running up and sticking a leg in and they go right by him. Instead, he kept the right side very well contained..and it was quite noticeable when he went out. He did well on double-teaming and helping get the ball away as well. He got "stuck in" when he needed to.
