Whoever it is hasn't been paying because SportBilly, apparently, didn't feel that last on. That, or I had my setting on "stun".
Things I would like to see back in the user's profiles: which national team you support Post count Rep I like that the Soccer365 skin gives us those things but the BS premium skins are much nicer. Maybe give us a new skin option for all that stuff?
BigSoccer really needs a decent mobile site. I hate the current one because it sorts by the date the thread was started and not the date of the last post. This means that ongoing threads get buried further and further down even though they have had recent posts.
I think I went into this already, but it was way back in the thread, so I'll revive it here. Basically, I want more (or different) options for jumping into a multi-page thread from a forum. For instance, let's go to USA Men News & Analysis and look at the list of threads. We'll see this one: News: New Details from the Davies Crash (1 2 3 ... Last Page) Now, if I know this is a busy, active thread that I haven't visited in a couple of days, then I probably don't want to just hop right to the last page. I'll want to start from a couple pages back and proceed from there. (And I certainly don't have any need to jump straight to page 2 or 3 -- in fact I can't imagine why anyone ever would, under any normal circumstance.) So wouldn't this make a lot more sense? News: New Details from the Davies Crash (1 ... 4 5 Last Page)
If 5 is the last page, then to have a link to page 5 AND the last page is a bit redundant. Why not something where the user can select a box to drop down. In that box, you can type the page you want? 1..2..3..last page...more. In this case, mouseover "more" and the box would drop down?
Are you thinking a box or a dropdown. Not saying we can do it but a box might be easier. If there a lot of pages, then going down to (for example) page 57, might be annoying.
Actually, we have what i'm thinking of at the bottom of this page. "Page 62 of 62 « First < 52 60 61 62" What about putting that arrow on the main list of threads?
I didn't even know this board had that arrow where you could type in what page you wanted to go to until Kryptonite's post.
That looks like it would need a re-work to get it in there, but I can see what's possible. I added it to the list.
Er... well, yeah, it would be. But who said 5 was the "last page" in my example?! Page 6 was the "last page" in my example. This is still defeating the ultimate purpose of my suggestion, which is to save time, effort and clicks. In fact, your proposal is even worse than the situation we currently have, because it adds keyboard action to the mix. At least the existing situation is all mouse stuff. Again, I'm not sure what purpose is served by "1 2 3 ... Last Page." How many occasions do you find yourself needing to jump to page 3 of some long thread? There's just something odd and random about the way it is now. Providing a one-click jump into a thread's most recent pages -- i.e., the last few -- makes so much more sense.
This has been mentioned a few times and it's definitely on our list. Things are moving again after the holiday. We're working on some changes to the Prediction Game and then will begin to tackle these suggestions. Thanks again for your thoughts.
Definitely listening and trying to respond. You'll have to excuse us in terms of implementation - we have a lot of things on our to do list in terms of improvements and new features (that's why we need a list!). So, small things are changing here and there that you might pick up on, particularly if you keep an eye on the Predictor Game.
It would be greatly appreciated by not only me, but by other posters to that you or any other admin go through this thread and update the teams... It's not the hardest thing to do, and we've been asking for team additions for ages.
On another forum, which probably uses some horrible software (which is beside the point,) users have their own clickable buttons attached to each thread. Clicking this button will sticky that thread, but only for that individual user. This is nice, because if someone replies, and you come back several weeks later, you'll still be able to see that reply, even if it would normally be on the second or third page by then.
have you guyz seen those pics in blogs were they are blocked out because of questionable content, you are warned about that content and if you want to display it you have to click on the link. can that be made here? not for pics but like for example, opposing views and the post author has the authority to make it opposing view or not.
Sort of like a result tag, but for pics? Why not figure out a way to have [result]result tags affect images as well? That way[/result] things like this example wouldn't happen.
