I figured it would be a good idea to have a "general" thread to discuss other teams, perhaps even our title chances, etc...without derailing specific game threads. So like I was saying, you guys think V'ciennes and M'pellier will stay up there?
L'ultimatum de Margarita ? Club will probably be sold if they do not qualify for next year's Champion's League. http://www.mercato365.com/infos-clu...276_Marseille-L-ultimatum-de-Margarita-.shtml
No way. I remember like 6 years ago Nice was leading the league in Janurary and then they faded fast. They were newly promoted or only promoted for a year or two I think.
You guys realize how many players we'll be missing for the ACN? Taye Taiwo, Mamadou Niang, Souleymane Diawara, Charles Kabore, Bakari Kone, Stephane M'Bia. Not looking forward to this period.
Senegal is not qualified so Mamad' and Diawara will stay . But the other losses are terrible. Kabore is better than Cissé and - I dare - Mbia, I don't understand why he never plays. Yesterday he was the better. We'll face Bordeaux without these players. I'm already shaking. Valbuena's gonna leave.
So, as most of you guys said both Lorient and Montpellier seem to be dropping out of the higher spots in the standings. In fact, Lorient have not won a game in 4 and speaking of which, I wouldn't mind signing Gameiro from them.
The game vs. Auxerre today was probably as an unpassionate as I have ever seen l'OM put forth. We looked totally uninterested and couldn't string 3 passes together. Ironically, our better player--or the one that tried the hardest--was HBA.
Been saying this for the last 2-3 matches. HBA is the only one on the field who is creating situations. He has been much less selfish of late too. I will guarantee that if they do let him leave in January that we are going to experience a very long winter with all of the injuries and ACN.
Nice hat-trick for Mamadou Niang today. Way to go, but a lot of distance to cover to obtain just the CL spot. It will be a dogfight to the finish of ligue 1
I think M'pellier will eventually drop out of the top4. That and considering we still got a game in hand, I could see finishing in the top 3. If we continue our current form, that is.
I actually think that L'OM has looked awesome since the loss to Montpellier. Maybe it was a wake up call but the footbally has been much more free flowing, Ben Arfa and Niang have been tremendous and even Little ValBuena (who I'm not too keen on) has looked good. I'm optomistic about the remainder of the season in terms of Ligue1 and even the Europa League. We shall see, even though it will be more difficult for me with the loss of Setanta US coverage
Based on what? I am 100% sure that I would be the happiest man on the planet if they decided to do so, but have yet to see any evidence of it anywhere. Have any good news?
A couple of weeks ago, as I was watching one of l'OM's games on Setanta, there was a little message at the bottom of the screen that said that "this type of programming will be available through FS+". Could just have been a generic message, though.
Shoot, that doesn't make me feel better. It was scolling through all of the content of Setanta including Ligue1 and SPL. I watched the 4 ligue 1 matches this weekend and there was no scrolling message. I'm thinking things are looking pretty bleak right now. Anyone interested in getting a petition rolling?
L'OM punked their dreaded rivals & there is no discussion about it here??? What gives Enjoy the highlights: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUTqhbSSvWM]psg vs. L'OM[/ame]
Nice friggin' win. And we won't see much of l'OM anymore this season ('cept those of us that have TV5), what with the demise of Setanta and all.
Bro there are other sites that have vids on matches all around the world. Also you can view streams as well. If you need more info, pm me. I will give you the dload about this.
